If you’re watching this video. Keep in mind it has now come to fruition that some reviewer units feel more controlled. Some felt faster and smoother. Thus, I cannot guarantee your pad will be similar to what I described unfortunately. I’ll try to get a second unit soon to compare.

I'm really glad you released this video. I picked up a WHSP04 coming from a superglide myself and immediately noticed it being smoother feeling, but with more control. I was convinced that the superglide felt faster, but I'm glad to see that you confirmed this as well, because believe it or not I perform better on the faster superglide. I'm using the obsidian mouse skates and can feel the difference despite the marginality. Keep it up!

I'm pretty convinced your SP004 is a different speed to mine. I've no idea how that's possible, but I'm particularly wriggly on my SP004, I was less wriggly on the Superglide. Maybe I need to spend more time on it to see if I settle in to it...
Could very well be the case. I would like to test another one at some point to see if any different
i stay on my superglide until you reviewer guys figured out that mistery😂 or until they make a 50x50 square. that would honestly the only viable reason i see for upgrading to something else. i don't even care if it's a little faster or slower.

Coming from superglide (I’ve used Skypad 2.0/3.0 shidenkai mid) mine is definitely faster than the superglide or 3.0 and my favorite pad. It is the only pad that has compared to the shidenkai mid for me in terms of speed and feel of the perfect mousepad. I will have to try the shidenkai v2 in the future and see how the sp004 compares to a fresh shidenkai

Great review as always! Any need to wear a sleeve with this pad? I have the 3.0 right now and it’s impossible for me to use it without a sleeve. Doesn’t look like you are using one so it’d be great to hear your opinion! Also something of a side note, you mentioned you came from professional CS back in the day. It’d be super cool if you did a vid on your background! Teams you played for, what tournaments you competed in, the training you did and how rigorous practice was. Just think that type of perspective could be super cool and interesting.

They feel great on all glass pads imo but the smoothness plays a factor on the sp004

When I first saw reviews on this everyone said it was the fastest pad out and when I got it and used it I was really confused bc yes it’s fast but my control on it atleast with my ghost runner cyclone skates on my Sora 4k was soooo vastly better then my other 2 glass pads being the atlas and skypad 3.0
