I really like Jordan’s approach in this vid, I like how he’s being a little more confrontational. Plus I feel like the editing is a bit different, I appreciate how it’s more unfiltered. This is easily my favorite segment in the daily show.

Sadly, facts don’t care about your feelings.
What I think every person should understand, is that there are a ton of people in the world who believe what they believe because they WANT it to be true. They don't care about facts or evidence, they only want to hear things that support what they want to be true, and dismiss anything that challenges their beliefs. This isn't a political thing, or an american thing... this is true of countless billions of people around the world.
Jordan is genius in the way he mirrors their ignorance back at them AND they still don't realize what's going on!
American education has FAILED them.

The more i watch these videos, the more concerned i become. With republicans appointing sympathetic election officials, passing restrictive voting laws, and gerrymandering political representation maps, these are the types of people that are going to influence our nation.

The 60s were when I woke after watching apartheid in the deep south where I grew up. The water fountains, lunch counters, and separate bathrooms were heinous and evil. It is repugnant to even think you want to go back to the dark age of the US like that.

Seeing the look on Mike’s face when Jordan told him exactly his plan was powerful. Maybe even a bit of self-reflection. Maybe a bit of shame to have it laid out so simply in front of everyone. These people think that we don’t see what they are doing.

I think, when you are interviewing someone who uses manipulation, you have to be direct. For most people, they aren't used to cameras and interview techniques.
He's more subtle when he's talking to people who are being manipulated, but when he talks to the manipulator, he uses a more direct approach. You don't make fun of a crook, you confront him.
So it's not as much fun when Klepper has met his match and just has to resort to yelling and interruption.
