I think mostly less crowd or many shops closed are because of major holiday in Malaysia - if you were traveling around the week of this video.
Last week was a holiday week. This week will be back to normal.
You should check local calendar, the time you reach here, the major festive just started, it was long weekend and extended public holiday, most Malaysian are back to hometown or on holiday outside Kuala Lumpur, but starting 9 May everything will be back to normal and Kuala Lumpur would be crowded and business fully open
That makes sense! Thanks for explaining ☺️
@@NALBATRAVELS Its Eid-fitr a celebration for a muslims
Currently it is eidul fitri. Where Muslim celebrate after fasting month. Therefore shop close almost a week
Not many people and lots of shops are closed because a major Muslim celebration is happening at that moment, Eid or Hari Raya, which was on the 1st May. This is the first time we all could visit family members after 2 years of shut down due to covid and everyone take this opportunity to go back to their hometown spending holidays with family members. Every year during Eid, KL is empty. It will be lively again after a week.
Makes sense! So glad people got to see their families again during this holiday 🤗
I saw you went to the mall, Suria@KLCC.... If you did that on the 1st day of eid/Hari Raya which is on 2nd May this year you could have stumbled upon groups of people wearing color matching attires stringing along in the mall and also the surrounding area taking pictures, and if you did, those are the people that didn't go back to their home town or they are from KL itself or the surrounding areas
Kuala Lumpur Malaysia is a beautiful city with beautiful people loved my holidays in KL sending love from Australia ❤️
It really is!! Thanks for watching all the way from AUS 🥰
Welcome to paradise!foodie heaven and culture supreme!
Absolutely agree! Thanks for the warm welcome 🤗
Looks like you went around during the Raya holidays. Most people have gone back to their hometowns to celebrate it. If you are still in KL, do visit the Birds Park
Seems like it! I have heard good things about the Birds Park, we will try to check it out ☺️
Good suggestion. Been to the birds park 2 years ago and we had a really great time! The place is huge 😄
@@human-wd8pg it is majority Muslim but we are free to practise any religion we want. Therefore, we are able to enjoy and observe all the religious festivities.
SELAMAT DATANG KE MALAYSIA..!
06:59 It's not a temple... It's a mosque...
17$ for dinner is quite expensive, you can full your stomach just for 1$ in Malaysia. Glad you having fun in Malaysia.
it is still in the Eid Mubarrak celebration. maybe that.. many shops are closed😊
Malaysian people always welcoming all people around the world. Enjoy our food and our culture. I believe both of you will never forget our food
That’s for sure!! Loving the food already. Thanks for the warm welcome 🥰
Many shops closed and less crowd as Malaysia just celebrated Eid Mubarak and people usually spend long holiday during festive season. If you come back in 1 week time you will see more crowd and most shops open by then.

7:09 FYI, the building right at the river intersection is not a temple, but a mosque. And you should come to the place at early night, it will be more beautiful with light and full of people.
have fun ya
Hi, enjoyed your vlog. Just to add more info: # at 6.53 of of the volg, the building you pointed out is a mosque not a temple. Its called Masjid Jamek, one of the oldest mosque in KL. The name Kuala Lumpur comes from the conference of 2 muddy rivers meeting right infront of this mosque. Kuala Lumpur literally means "the meeting/conference of mud" in the Malay language. Should visit this place at night, the lightings are dazzling combined with man made mist. # at 7.52, do not know you realized it or not, the tall building behind you is called PNB 118. Currently, Its the 2nd tallest building in the world. Glad you found good food. Enjoy...await your next video. Stay safe.
Confluence not conference
Oh wow we did not know that’s where the name for KL came from!! So interesting thanks so much for all the info 😍
Welcome to Malaysia... Enjoy your journey... Stay safe n healthy... Maybe after this, you can go to Putrajaya,BBCC (Bukit Bintang City Centre)..
One thing you should know, you came in Hari Raya holiday..Yes,, biggest reaseon why many shop are closed and less people is people are going back to hometown to celebrate with older family. Mybe you should come after a week to feeling kL vibes normal again.
It is festive season. It is the Eid for the Muslims. That's the reason why the city is empty & shops are closed
Welcom to malaysia

Cafes and restaurants prices in Malaysia ranges from RM30-RM70, they’re not taking advantage of tourists but that is the price that even locals pay. A cheaper option would be the 24hrs Mamak restaurants (typical Indian Muslim restaurants) or any street side Malay restaurants. Do enjoy your time in Malaysia.
Good to know! Thanks so much for the recommendations ☺️
Damn Changkat is so expensive even for locals. There are many good cafes with hapf or even quarter the price.
Enjoy your staycation and im here to support you guys 🫰🏻
Thank you! Already loving it 😊 Welcome to our channel ☺️

Kuala Lumpur is one of the top 10 most visited cities in the world. You will need to spend more time in Malaysia besides Kuala Lumpur. There are many more places to visit in Malaysia besides just Kuala Lumpur.
Hello, i want to come to Malaysia in a couple of weeks can you please recommend me a place to visit? Another city other than kuala lumpur?
@@SJHALO You can try Penang for old colonial English charm or Malacca (Melaka) for traditional Portuguese and Dutch mixed with Asian architecture. If you wish to lay by the sea, go to Perhentian Island for tranquil white sand beaches and turquoise blue waters or Langkawi Island for the steepest cable car ride, Geo Parks and water activities. If you are into diving, try the islands of Sabah in Malaysia. Some of the worlds best diving sites are there. Sarawak has the worlds largest caves and cave openings and forest older than the Amazon.
@@cleanenergyinside1921 thank you so much this is amazing to know 😍😍😍😍
@@SJHALO You're welcome
Roadtrip is the better way to explore Malaysia.

I have plans to visit Malaysia or Thailand but I don't know which one better for solo traveller
Both places are good for solo travelling Thai: Entertainment Malay: Family friendly hope it helps you :))
You can visit both, I'm from Malaysia but I love going to Thailand.
You can go to both country, in fact even to Singapore to the South. Depending on time of your visit, both country relatively budget friendly. Transportation to and fro from both country is excellently connected. For female solo traveller, do exercise caution just like when you travel around the world.
You can definitely do both! They are both safe and beautiful countries to travel. But I think it’s more common to find other solo travellers in Thailand 😊 We were last there in 2016 so can’t tell you how things are now, but we are loving our stay in Malaysia!!
👍👍👍👍👍🥰😎
As an experience traveller you guys should check the calender first
7:00 that building behind you is not a temple...it is actually a mosque...when you are using the lrt, there is a station called Masjid Jamek situated just in front of this mosque....the name refers to this mosque
🤤

Can you give the name or direct location of this lunch street food? Looks nice and we want to check it out next month😊
Of course! It’s located right in front of Oasia Suites Hotel 😊
Enjoy your stay in Malaysia. If you have the time, head over to Sabah and Sarawak as well. Sabah, for cultures, Mt. Kinabalu and beaches & islands and Sarawak for culture, nature and adventure.
Ohh amazing!! Thanks so much for the recommendations we will definitely check them out ☺️

How much day you free visa in your pasport to stay in malaysia ?
It depends on the country of your passport. I believe they gave us 90 days cause we are from Europe.

Its easy in malaysia right? Everybody can speak good and broken English..
Yeah most people understand and can speak so we haven’t had any issues ☺️
I wish my girlfriend can eat like you do. My girlfriend has a habit to throw away half of the meal every single time. The most annoying.
Haha not me!! I will eat it all, especially here in Malaysia 🍜🥟😋
That is a masjid dear... not temple... 🌹🌹🌹🌹
Don’t come to Malaysia to study.

Yes I know I stumbled upon my words cause English is not my first language. I actually noticed this error while editing and considered cutting it out but hey we’re just humans.
