  • Just a few minutes in and realized lots of countries do not do shawarma authentic, if you have a Palestinian/jordanian shawarma or go to a Palestinian area in NJ, the shawarmas have a lot more-they’re closer to doner kebobs, they usually have pickeled veggies and vegetables in it and a lot more flavor. The shawarmas I saw on the video were like the ones in Saudi which I hated. They just tasted like a bad version of garlic sauce and chicken. But I have to say, the one time I had doner kebob in Austria, I think I like it better than the traditional one I’m used to. I would need to taste side by side haha

  • Penang is of course the streetfood capital, you really do not have to go to a restaurant unless you want authentic Nonya cuisine, there are lots of hawker centres and local coffee shops that have streetfood if you do not want to eat on the street. Of course the Nasi Kandar in Penang is a must 'cause Nasi Kandar is originated from Penang. Then lastly you can also take a ferry to Langkawi from Penang. Have a nice holiday

  • Was Seattle's Space Needle on the famous towers image? We went up recently - it's 100$ per person to visit the glass-floored *rotating* deck. The glass walls are slanted with built-in benches so you can lean back against the wall and you feel like you're floating. Seattle finally finished its International Arrivals skywalk which was made to showcase the mountain, and as you're walking along, airplanes are taxi-ing (?) underneath the skywalk. It's so well done it's a pity they don't let random people in there for the view.

    @LythaWausW@LythaWausW13 күн бұрын
    • $100 pp to go on the Space Needle?! Is that US dollars?! It's been maybe 25 years since I went to the top of it but do recall they were doing some type of renovation as there was lots of construction near it when I last was visited Seattle about 5 years ago.
