    • Most people don't even get why he did kind of badly in the Burns fight. He WANTED a show fight, a WAR! He had 4-5 fights in the UFC at that point and ALL of them end in round 1 almost IMMEDIATELY. He felt that Burns was a good "dance" partner, and he felt that if there was ever a time to have a war to FEEL what that is like and test himself in a war before a championship fight, THIS was the fight. That said of course he wanted to KO burns. But people don't understand that Khamzat did bad against Burns for purely mental mindset reasons 😐 His mentality with the fight was bad. He knows this now and that you can't "play" with guys at this level because they will go to take your head off. He then MAULED Holland right after, showing he's had enough of playing around.

Deron Winn has a win via Fall against Kamaru Usman at wrestling but compare their careers in mma. Bo always brings up his accomplishments in wrestling on why he can beat Khamzat. What Khamzat has to do imho, is control his emotions a little bit cause he has this pressure from people that he always HAS to walk through every opponent he has and that propably can't work against Usman and tough opponents in general, he needs to be patient.

    • The first loss is never a big thing in my opinion. Its how the fighter comes back after the loss. Just look at Volk how he took the Islam loss, or back in the day McGregor against Diaz, who was considered an easy win for Conor. Or even Gaethje who went on a 2 fight losing streak after being undefeated. If you come back strong it doesnt matter. Lets say Khamzat loses this one, comes back to beat Costa, Whittaker, Cannonier, or Dricus Du Plessis he is right back.

    • Yep, will probably be the biggest hype train in UFC history getting derailed if he does lose, but I personally think he wins and goes on to beat Strickland next year

    • @@thisislilraskalI agree. The hype is real with khamzat. And Usman got old man knees. I love watching kamaru but I don't see a route to victory for him.

    • @@thisislilraskalkhamzat will undoubtedly shoot immediately. Usman has a bad target being his knees and khamzat will be looking to make a statement against such a fresh ex champion

  • I like this version of Khamzat. Much more calm, focused and even respectful.

  • I think he has returned to his original form and it's scary. while people still use his fight with Burns as a benchmark and feel that Khamzat will still fight in the same "sloppy" way as against Burns. even though the battle experience actually made Khamzat stronger and smarter because he could learn in the battle.

    • He has returned to his original form!!! And his battle experience!! What level is he exactly?? And when will he be super saiyan

    • "Sloppy" he couldn't risk grappling with a world champion in BJJ and stood up to get outstruck, that's not sloppy, that's being scared, Burns shooked him on the comfort zone.
