What do you guys think of the below? I got a different idea on the general trend. The table illustrates information on underground train systems in London, Paris, Tokyo, Washington D.C., Kyoto and Los Angeles. Figures show the number of kilometres, year that it was opened and total annual passengers in millions. Overall, underground railway systems that were built before the 1950’s carry more passengers and run longer routes compared to train systems established after the mid 20th century. Pertaining to the London, Paris and Tokyo rail systems, their commuters collectively make up to about a whopping four billion annually with Tokyo alone serving 1928 billion passengers. The tube and rail system for London runs at a great distance of 394 kilometres followed by Paris and Tokyo at 199 kilometres and 155 kilometres respectively. As for Washington D.C., Kyoto and Los Angeles, these newer train rails carry a combined total of almost 250 million a year paling in comparison to that of the older train systems. The city of Washington D.C. runs up to 126 kilometres in route while Kyoto and Los Angeles are even shorter at less than 40 kilometres combined.

i am so thankful that i noticed to your channel. your videos are tremendously beneficial. my exam is within 14 hours.
can we connect
not sure if 20 minutes is actually enough to write all of this info. Especially when it takes 2-3 minutes to analyze the data alone let along make notes about it. Really appreciate this approach though makes the concept very easy to grasp.
Could someone plz help ! Had a query In the overview paragraph why aren't we using had instead we are using has . For reference see the lst line of the para .
Very useful 😬
Thank you Ma'am
I was wondering why this broken-up essay got few views In detail description. Thanks
Thank you
Thank you mam😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
Thank you. Just a quick question, where did you get 'the Helsinki' has more than four times as much snow as any other city (Body Para 1). How did you get it?? Pls share.. thank you
100×4=400 and because it is 450 so she said it more then 4 times
can you assess my intro The given table displays information about different underground railway systems of several countries from Europe, America and Asia. The opening dates, roads kilometers and the annual figure of passengers (millions) are provided as well within the visual.
Is it alright If the word count for my IELTS Task 1 passage exceeds 200? (206, to be precise)
Thanks for your helpful explanations.I’ve got a question : The analysis time gives me around 10 minutes 😢! I need more practise?
Sure.
hello ma'am, the second body paragraph you used the present perfect. actually i thought it should be in past or past perfect because the year are in the past.please explain me
I also thought about the tense..and after became tensed
Would it be wrong to group the body paragraphs according to cities (one for Edinburgh, Paris and Helsinki and one for Casablanca)? I thought of this since Casablanca is the only one that stands out in terms of heat
you can do that it still correct but try to involve comparisons as well
Hoped u would make more videos:< Nevertheless tnx for ur videos!
Helsinki has more than four times as much snow as any other city? Comparing to Edinburgh- yes but not with every other cities
Obviously, the calculations are wrong. It has about 6x of one city and over 40x another. Again, the heat difference,Helsinki is not 28C. It’s 8
Its 28
I’m not clear how she came up with 28 degrees for Helsinki and 26 for Casablanca. The lowest temperature in Helsinki is -10 and highest +18 and Casablanca its 9 to 35. Why did she subtract 9 from 35. Someone explain this for me pls .
because it is range, you need to find the difference btw them
Overall, it can be clearly seen that London has the oldest railway system in comparison with the other five countries. Additionally, Kyoto has the most mediorce annual number of commuters and route kilometers.
❤
best
For the 2nd one, as all the information given are in past, only simple past or past perfect should be used. But in this video you've used few present perfect words. Isn't that wrong ?
Thanks for this question! From the prompt, we can assume that these underground railway systems still exist in the present. This is why the present tense is used when explaining how many route kilometers and passengers they have: because they still exist. Then, the simple past tense is correctly used when referring to the exact date that each railroad was opened because it is a specific moment in the past. Keep in mind that this prompt is not asking you to describe something that happened before something else (which is when the Past Perfect would be used) -- we are just describing the specific past dates of each railroad station's opening and making relevant comparisons. Hope this answers your question!
@@BestMyTest okay understood!! Thanks for your time, clearing me this doubt!! I'm looking forward for your videos😉😉😊
Helsinki has 40 times more snowfall than other cities, not 4 times!
how is only 4 times snow , it should be 45 times more than any other city
Helsinki has the most wet days not sunny days
Isn't this overall too longggg?
task 1 is only inn 20 mins we have not time to summarize all of this
u gotta practice u know, it only takes 5 minutes if u get used to this type of task 1, and the next 15 min just write them all down so i think summary is needed
i will pass my ielts exam soon and preparing with your videos. Hope I will achive 7.5+ on task 1!
