We weren't giving him shit all night or any other comedians for that matter... it just hit really hard.
I hear you but... all those people are going to go home and have a story to tell their friends and family.
Nah they don’t, it’s a fine line and something you need skill in reading. I’ve seen plenty of hecklers put well and truly in place by comedians.

I FIGHT BROKE OUT ON ME TOO. THE WHOLE BAR. I was doing an open mic 2 minute bit, maybe my 3rd appearance. I was at THE WHISKEY BEND in Burbank California. A bar maid said there wasn't a fight in 25 years. There were pool balls being thrown. A lady jumped on a guy's back. A gun shot in the parking lot. I didn't say one joke. I just started singing the Annie song "The sun will come out tomorrow". Then during all the melee I pretended to be rocky calling Adrian after the fight. "Adrian " "ADRIAN"! then I got off the stage.
😂🍻
😹
I dont think hecklers realise that the only one that finds hecklers funny, is the heckler himself
I've never understood why heckling at a comedy gig is a thing. If you did that at virtually any other live performing art you'd be out in seconds
Sometimes people drink too much and slip up here or there. but he was being a ahole on purpose. People come to comedy shows to get away from stress he should be banned 4 life.
Also some comedians will interact with audiences if they are running low on material, none like heckling, it disrupts the flow of there act.
He was a Democrat and was transitioning from a woman into something that kind of resembled a man.
Well... it's not a poetry recital. Some comics are good at working a rowdy crowd, others are good at making an enemy out of anyone who pipes up, and still others aren't good at either.
I never heckle comedians. I do that at art galleries.
