Ep#66 - Start Gabion Wall & 2nd Gate

We originally planned to do corrugated metal along the property line fence behind the building to hide the basic chain link fence, but now we decided to use gabion/rock style wall for contrast instead. First time ever doing a gabion project, but we love that style for natural rock so let’s try it.
We also decided to add a large 5’x7’ double gate along the property line in case we have an opportunity to connect the neighboring property if it develops. If not, it would still be nice for cosmetic design as part of the wall design.

This is selfish: Could you invest in a wearable microphone? It is hard to hear you. Your content is interesting. You are nice people that I would enjoy spending time with. When I sit down to watch TV it is because I'm already tired, then I strain to hear over the ambient noise. Your channel is better than a lot of them with thousands of subscribers.
Awe, thank you very much for the nice comments! For microphone, we did buy a nice $300 pair of wireless microphones that we used awhile back in prior videos but then it stopped working. We got a replacement under warranty but on occasion when using them since then, the video didn't record any audio so we've just been using the GoPro microphone. Perhaps we can try it again soon. 🙂 We're about 2 months behind on catching up on videos for our video journal log but there are some cool results coming up. We're currently working on the rear side of the building now and we just picked up a bunch of mine cart frames to use for our cart style picnic tables idea. More videos coming soon. Yay!
