I thought that was good he realized he needed help. He treated me like I was his wife. Told me that his dad abused him and told his friend about me. He also called me over 50 times from an unknown number lol trying to talk but I never was available. Now that I'm available I don't get a phone call from him but ive messaged him on Facebook and he never blocked me.

    • Sadly from experience,….cheaters can also, suddenly and/or unusually, start to shower you with gifts, flowers, promises of things they know you love eg. “Next weekend we’ll do ABC etc, but this weekend I have to do XYZ”…of course ABC never comes. This is probably to ease their own guilt and give the impression to the world outside your relationship, that they are the good guy. I reckon they do this as they know or suspect that you will be confiding in your friends or family, and they want to do everything they can to gaslight those around you. I was gaslit for years and the gift giving was showy, so my own family, friends and work colleagues all doubted me when I said I thought he was cheating and they even supported him…until he was caught red handed. Perhaps this type of cheater is also narcissistic, sociopathic, psychopathic or has some other form of anti-social behavior…whatever it is, it’s a living nightmare as you do begin to seriously doubt yourself, thinking that you’re going crazy and you also have nowhere to turn…

  • 1. He picks unnecessary fights with you. 2. He’s really sketchy with his phone. 3. You’re not having sex anymore. 4. He tries to gaslight you. 5. He’s vague and mysterious about his time away from you. 6. He tells you about cheating on past girlfriends. 7. Your intuition tells you something is off.

The fights, he complained about this that and everything, I fixed everything he complained about so he wouldn’t come home angry, but he’d find something else to complain about. • Let’s define cheating. My husband has made a very special sex-less friendship with a female college in the office. Anything she has desired we had to do. Lunch, dinner, holidays always with her. I was there only to serve my husband as a third person. I think emotional cheating is as bad as sex cheating, so I’ve left.

I’m looking at videos like this because a man I fell for not only rejected me, but humiliated me in front of strangers who now think I was the one chasing him when in fact, he was the one attracted to me and he told me so, but then he kept me hanging for awhile until today. My pride is so wounded because he was cruel to have exposed my feelings for him to other women who have probably already spread the gossip.

    @heather71421@heather714217 ай бұрын
    • actually it is called PROJECTION. if he or she is deflecting then it is because he or she is trying to divert your attention from what you think he might be doing. projection however is accusatory and when they SUSPECT you of cheating and you are not but it's them so they imagine it. they project onto others what they do themselves. unfortunately, my family is like this. the same with a thief or someone who is a traitor, they think everyone is out to do it to them. it is their GUILTY CONSCIENCE.

There is nothing more heartbreaking than betrayal, lies deceit, and go around pretending to be something (faithful, honest, trustworthy, etc.) that you are not and can't ever be.

    • did you ever hear about how we are here to change ourselves and not others? did you know that we can't change others - they have to want to change or it won't happen? so all we can do is change ourselves and then our life changes. I know it sounds trite or stupid right now maybe but.......our thoughts really are drawing conditions to us. so I would kindly suggest to you to start looking at how you are feeling and by this I mean, start writing out how you feel. all of it. keep writing until it's all out on the paper in front of you. then look at what it is telling you about YOU. what are your beliefs? how is this familiar to you? that is how we begin. I have had to do this and still do this, everyday. it helps us to see what we are creating. we have to become our own best friend first and how we can begin this is by being willing to listen to ourselves and to how we feel. if we do not think we are worth listening to, how can we expect others to think that we are? it begins with us. God bless you. we are here to spiritually awaken...

I had 3 different exes who would do that after they had been talking or doing something inappropriate with another woman. It was out of guilt. It went along with other red flags, though. Unfortunately, it gives me anxiety now when a man that I'm dating randomly brings me flowers/gifts when it's not a special occasion.🙃

When I’d notice my wife feeling down I’d buy her flowers and that made her more angry. Thanks for destroying my marriage. He's been out of my life since and my biggest take away from therapy is that I should have no shame or guilt over that - that is totally on him and Matt is 100% spot on! My ex husband was talking about his new workmate so overly enthusiastic that I knew it right away 🤷🏻‍♀️ At home with 2 little kids (1 and 2 yr) I had no chance to compete with "Superwoman" 🤦🏻‍♀️ but we didn't have the funds for a fast divorce. So we managed to stay another couple of years before we had a good divorce (kids were older, too). A marriage might end - parenthood doesn't. So it's good if "the adults" give their best to keep the feet on the ground and avoid harmfull wars. (She got dumped after a few weeks btw 😉).

  • What I noticed before my husband cheated was an increase in absent mindedness. He was so distracted that he kept misplacing his things. He became more arrogant. More full of himself. He became very disinterested in “our” conversations and would walk away in the middle of my answer to his question! He became more self centered. More critical of me and our daughter. More demanding. More entitled. More victimized. More misunderstood. Increased usage of electronic devices. Less eye contact. Of course, more secretive. More controlling of money. More defensive. More aggressive. Treated us like his enemies. More angry, more bullying and talking over us and refusing to listen. More avoidant than usual. More “in his head”. More passive aggressive. Talked more about his achievements and how great he was. Started using emoji’s in his texts that he didn’t seem to know before. He became a stranger that I didn’t know.

This is not his first time cheating but he wanna to try and fix things and so did I, but after a month and a half of trying(without therapy) I am not sure our marriage of 29 yrs can be save. He is not putting any effort and zero communication on his part. I had several of those conversations with him, but he shuts me out, doesn't give me a straight answer, is like "who are you". I recently lost my mother 5 weeks ago and he hasn't been very supportive of that either. I am trying so hard to save my marriage because i really love, he was a very different man then but he has change so much that I wonder if is really worth it....I am in limbo and feel so alone

    • @@AliciaGarcia-hj9ms You are not alone. Don't believe him when he says he wants to "fix things" because he won't. He wants you to fix things on your end so that he will feel entitle to guide you to a solution that will allow him to be in control of your emotions, your life and your time. He's serving you with "conditional love and relationship" on a silver platter. Don't believe him. If this is the 2nd or even 3rd time in your marriage, walk away. I know. I've been there. Just remember: you're stronger than you think you are, smarter than he believes you are and nicer than he deserves. If a separation doesn't "fix" things, divorce is in your future and believe me, you'll discover that you are a woman worth knowing, worth loving and worth treasuring. If he gives you this one-liner: My dad had lots of female friends when he was married, why shouldn't I? - run out the door! The cheating is ingrained and can't be fixed by you and takes years of therapy to change. Getting psychological help on your end will save your mind, gut and emotional stability. If he's anything like my former husband, he'll refuse therapy saying that there's nothing wrong with him or he'll say: I don't need therapy but I can help you instead of spending all that money. If he accepts couple or marriage counseling with you here are signs he's not willing to change or commit to your marriage or to deepen your relationship: - talks about his work for 45 minutes of the 1 hour appointment; - finds any excuse to not attend the session and has you go alone; - gets conveniently held up at work or sick; - always has an excuse to not do the exercises the therapist recommends you do as a couple or individually; - continues to gaslight or start taking your things (in my case it was a watch) and moving them around the house then tells you he never touched it; - offers you a class so that you don't have to pay for the therapist and insists the class will change you so that he can love you better. If he does any of those, it's time to say goodbye. And, realize that though your children will be upset about the split and possible divorce, they won't be surprised!

    • @@AliciaGarcia-hj9ms Alicia, he's not even there for you when you've lost your mother? Sigh. I know you feel emotionally drained, defeated trying for someone who used to be there for you and is now not available. You're mourning, grieving for the relationship you once had. Because it's gone. He hurt you Alicia more than once and that's too much heartache especially with him not making any effort. If he's not communicating and shuts you out then it'll make you feel even worse each day you're trying and not receiving any signs of him understanding you. I'm sorry he's being this way and has hurt you before too, but you can stop the cycle of his abuse by not tolerating it anymore! You're hurt and in so much pain because he crossed so many lines that he shouldn't have! There are boundaries we should never cross or else the trust, respect and friendship becomes broken. This guy doesn't respect you. If he cared enough he'd wipe your tears, cherish you and try to salvage what's left of your relationship before you don't want to talk to him or ever see him again. One day you'll just wake up and it'll be enough for you. You'll have had enough of his nonsense, his immaturity, his insensitivity, his lack of appreciation and kindness to you and your needs. You'll realize that you haven't cried as much and that you don't care if he tried calling you or that he didn't come over. Don't let him use you as his net whenever things don't work out with some side chic! Girl, don't let him mistreat you like that! Come on! You're better than that! Take a deep breath, stand up tall, take care of yourself as best as you can and try to rest. I know it's hard to not be consumed with what he's doing away from you, to you, and what he's not doing enough of, but if he's not caring or being supportive of you f*** him and treat yourself right for you-- use that time on yourself to lift your spirits go pamper yourself, get organized, keep yourself busy with getting yourself in check. Streamline your life. Go wash your tears, take a nice bath, do something nice for yourself and tell yourself you deserve peace in your life not chaos and toxic people frustrating you, making you confused and hurt all the time. You're constantly spinning in thoughts aren't you? Stop his abuse towards you Alicia. You can do it. Put your foot down and say enough is enough. We long for what we had, but those guys are not who we used to know. They've made awful decisions, one too many mistakes that have changed us as well. They don't want to hear us hurting. They run out the door because they're too weak to face reality and the consequences of their actions. The only way is communication, consistency, patience and time. Through that is understanding, reassurance and mending of trust but only if they are willing to and actually stop the abusive behavior not continue it over and over. And if they do, they're not worthy of you Alicia. You've stayed, you've pushed yourself to do the impossible even in pain (I can see you catering to him, cooking, cleaning, doing his laundry, making his lunches, still remembering anniversaries even after he's hurt you and hasn't helped with the amount of healing your heart still yearns to feel) and I can see you struggling with every "I'll be back" not knowing if he will and who he will be this time if he even comes home-- a nicer person who actually reflected on his actions and wants to make amends or an angrier, more aggressive person who can't look you in the face and just wants to fight so you could be scared to go talk to him. I can see you not fight with him when he comes home cuz you've gone through so much that your heart feels so bruised already, you need a break from all of it, and you're just glad he's home even if he didn't acknowledge you and just went to sleep... but after a few hours you're still left with the thoughts of him being out with someone else and all those doubts or what you find on a receipt or see on his phone lighting up has your gut instinct confirmed. You even know he cheated. There's no guessing or wondering if he did. And it's not his first time?! Alicia please open your eyes. Don't allow this madness to keep happening to you. Time is precious and we need to use it wisely! We can't get decades of our lives back. You have the opportunity to start a new life without this mess he's not helping you fix. Don't lose anymore time. He's had 29 years to figure things out and still doesn't give you straight answers. If you have children with him, I totally understand why you're trying to be the rock, the one who keeps the family together, but once you're finally happy, your kids will say "mom, why didn't you leave dad sooner?" They feel this too, and want what's best for you. If you're a happier mom you'll be more present in their lives and feel the weight off you! No more playing with your kids with a heavy heart! None of him making no sense or his dumb actions weighing you down anymore! You can actually focus on that movie or your chores and hobbies without thoughts and triggers constantly evading your mind or checking to see if he's called or coming home. No more waiting for him to come home Alicia. You deserve happiness and love not feelings of loneliness, trauma, confusion and fear with someone in your life! Tell yourself right now that you deserve joy! It's ok to express sadness because of what he's done but slowly and surely when you refuse to feel this way anymore you will realize he's not worth the aggravation and stop wasting your time with someone who's selfish and self-centered. He comes off as someone who doesn't have a conscience, no guilt, no remorse. Why put up with that?! Don't. He has rules for himself and different ones for you I'm sure. I'm so sorry for your loss😔🥺😢 Please take care of yourself and your heart and don't put up with his BS any longer. If he's not there for you at a time like this you will resent him for it as well. I know you have a forgiving heart but you need your sanity too. You need to let him go especially if he isn't willing to see his faults, doesn't sincerely apologize and refuses to change his bad behavior!!!

    • Yes this happened to me. Then he retired but was still talking to her. The more they talked I started feeling suspicious. Then he left his phone at home. It kept ringing so when I answered it was our son, he'd recently changed his phone number. So curiosity got the best of me and I found their text message exchange. That's when I found out his plans to divorce me in the spring. Of course he only heard the word affair and I had to inform him that it doesn't always mean sex. Now he's planning to move out. Before any of this I really had no clue besides the excessive phone calls. I'm a little strange, when he doesn't answer my questions I go to the other person for answers. At this point it is what it is- after 28 years of marriage, I don't even think it's worth trying to save. Right now my main focus is my health and preparing for radiation. When I get silent and stop trying to reason (reason not beg) it's out of my hands. Just waiting to see how it all plays out.

    • Yes! And not just about cheating or your intuition, but just in general about listening to guys when they tell you something. I have a lot of guy friends, and I've been told I think like a guy (I'm female). One thing is guys are sooo much less complicated than women. Women tend to overthink. Just take what a guy says at face value (most of the time). I remember one time I went to dinner with a bunch of girls and one of the girls arrived late. When she arrived, she apologized, saying she was on the phone with the guy she had been seeing, and he said he wasn't interested in being in a committed relationship at the time and didn't want her to wait for him. She asked us what we thought of that. I'm thinking, uh, he told you what he meant. There's no reason to doubt his word. In fact, if anything, it shows he had respect for her, because he was upfront with her instead of leading her on while he cheated on her behind her back. I told her he wasn't interested in a committed relationship. She gave me such a dirty look. Next, one of the other girls said, no, I don't think he really means that. Yes, he did! HE told you what he meant, so why is someone else who's not in his brain telling her what he meant?

But the fact of our relationship is; i give no sex & he offer me companship & respect. No conflicts, no arguement & he always defends me, he treats me with respect & we even laugh about his affairs. Out of sight out of mind. When people talk to me about his affairs, i explain that i am aware & allow that. Many of my friends, think i am shallow. But one think i am assured of, is i love myself & i know who i am. I have peace of mind, & no one can destroy my space. My dad was a cheater all his life & my mother was a faithful woman until she passed. Maybe my situation is a learnt behaviour, because even though my dad cheated, i never witnessed any violence or arguments between my mum & dad. We were 10 children & us children are not even speaking, it feels as though the disfunctional upbringing rub off on us all, the children.😂😂🙈🤣

To juggle walk throughs of various angles on the topic delivered to-camera, differnet content per topic from various folks underneath the umbrella of the track list of the larger big band concert itself is engaging and refined. To make a dense taccess like this so digestible is really something. Awesome work jack!!

  • They criticize you, they get angry at you over nothing-they start fights, they stay out late, they ignore you and stay on their phones, they take a shower as soon as they get home, they start caring more about their appearance, they begin to be interested in subjects/sports/readings, etc. that he was never interested in before, they go to bars a lot and begin to come home with a buzz or drunk when they didn’t do this before, they don’t communicate about anything anymore, you get phone calls where people hang up, etc., etc. Take care of yourself, invest in yourself and leave this craziness. Get a dog. They are loyal and loving and are actually better than most men.

  • I don’t usually spill the tea on social media, but hoping this helps someone! I asked my ex several times if they wanted out. Apparently “it was all in my head” for 5 years 🤦🏽‍♀️😂 The best thing I did, was to end things by waving goodbye from the removal van. Here’s all the red flags I can remember: -Phone face down. -Taking the phone into the shower and toilet. -Staying out all night, phone died, no charger. -Home drunk, crying and apologising, but no explanation what the apology is for. -Claiming I’m paranoid, clingy, mad. -Not taking down public suggestive boxer short photos off social media. -Watching girls (like it was questionable if they were 19 🥴) and accusing me of being paranoid when I bring it up. -Being out overnight every Valentine’s Day we were together. -Having photos of exes and none of us. -Overtly flirting and being handsy with his female best friend and in front of others too. -Intimacy and PDA stopped cold. -Old dating profile, still active, even after discussing it. -Not really a red flag. But guys asking me out, him stood right there, them not realising we’re a couple. That says a lot 🤣🤣 I’m not making light of anyone’s situation, only my own, because I can’t believe it took be 5 years and seems hilarious now. It’s not time waisted, it’s time learned and has really helped me with future relationships. Thank you, next 💖

  • Patty-I thank you for this. I called I guy out on his constant talking about a particular woman who was a member of our social group. His reaction was so exaggerated that you would think he really was fooling around with her. Then he called me jealous and insecure. This was my first real relationship with a man. Eventually, we broke up permanently after I called him out on everything I felt was wrong between us. I've never regretted that conversation. It was liberating.

  • I went through many years of being cheated on and forgave but decided that it was time to do the right thing for me and stop this abuse so on February 17th, 2022 I started the process of divorce and in 6 to 8 weeks I will finally be legally liberated. I went through almost every single point you made of signs of being cheated on. Not to justify, but I was sixteen when I met him and I married a month after I turned 19. He was a 20 days shy from turning 21. My lack of insight, maturity and experience really were against me to see what I was getting into.

  • Cheating partners also tend to judge by their own standards. They really seem to think everyone does the same, so if they are possessive, unduly suspicious of your friends and work colleagues, covertly checking your phone, wanting to know where you are and who with. what your doing. All often a precursor to gaslighting.

    • TIMEOUT! - I started eating better and taking care of myself so that I would have more time with her. I built a gym in the basement for us. She was the one who mysteriously started caring about appearance and wanted a PF membership.

      @afroindymonk@afroindymonk Жыл бұрын
    • @@afroindymonk Ok, but you’re proving my point. You weren’t the one cheating correct? AND SHE also wanted to work out, but specially with a PF membership right? BECAUSE SHE didn’t care to work out at home with you. Look, not every person who wants to get in shape is cheating. That wasn’t the point of my comment. It’s simply ONE factor or indicator. That being said, it’s usually a bigger one and often one of the first signs. However, one cannot and should not go by just that alone. Even wanting the gym membership isn’t enough, because maybe there’s a certain piece of equipment that the person uses, or maybe they just need to leave the house to avoid procrastination with other things around home. There’s never just ONE sign. My comment was to say, that If a person is doing these things while ALSO being distant, all of a sudden caring greatly about their appearance, not wanting to spend time with you, and making excuses about being busy, all of those are red flags. ALSO if in addition to those things, they are not wanting any affection or sex from you. Well then my guy, you best start investigating and prepare yourself for what you’re about to find (unless you want to remain in denial, which some choose to do). The BIGGEST indicator is that the sex and intimacy dwindles or stops completely. Unless your woman is a Narcissistic Ho, she cannot remain involved with you like that, and be on the hunt or interested in someone else. If they’ve lost that “lovin feelin” towards you, and a medical issue isn’t the reason why, and especially if you’ve been really helping her around the house, (so being tired isn’t a factor) then that’s the closest thing you’re going to get to a one sign indication.
