I've been wearing Ruroc's RG1-DX helmet for an entire year and FINALLY made a video about it. The helmet comes with a pair of goggles that don't fog, has a removable face mask, has all sorts of protection features, and just looks so damn cool.

I have about 1 accident a year on my bicycle, from drivers not paying attention. Wearing a helmet has saved me from serious injury. The last year has been accident free mostly since I run LED's on my wheels (electric blue). Which really grabs people's attention. Similarly I was thinking of getting Ruroc's "Chaos Ice" helmet because I love the blue accents. Like my wheel lights, Ruroc helmets are also attention getters which should be considered an added safety feature. :P

I have the same helmet, but in matte black. Use it while cruising around Orange Co. on my Super 73. People literally stop in stare while I'm riding my bike, and ask me about the helmet (as if the bike isn't bad ass either, haha). It's a badass helmet!

I've had the shadow chrome for the last week or so and love it.. For snowboarding, riding the OneWheel and my e bike..I have the XXL version as well my large head very hard to find helmets that fit.. On receiving the faceplate pressed uncomfortably against my cheek bones .I was concerned as I love the look and feel it's really hard to find anything as close to as good as this..I had to remove the black rubber pieces on the inside of the faceplate and use a Dremel tool to sand down the plastic underneath and now I'm very happy it fits..I got the red Ruby nastek lens additionally and also the clear low light lens for night time and the shockwave is on backorder..

Ryan Ab it’s pretty warm even in cold temps. I would wear a different helmet in warm weather or just not wear the goggles and face mask.

just finished my 2018 ski trip... gonna have to get this for next season! I remember first wanting this for esk8 but I couldn’t justify the price. Now that I realize I can use it to ski too, it’s go big or go home!

I also have the shadow chrome RG1-DX. I’ve had mine for 6 years now and I can tell you that it definitely does fog up for me. The fogging starts at the top and slowly creeps down.

Yo I have the RG1-DX Fear & the Machine. Hands down, Ruroc helmets are the truth. I don't think I'll wear any other. My favorite helmet is the one you got. It's because of watching your videos I even know about Ruroc. Good Sh^t bro.

In case someone is wondering, the buckle is from Fidlock. I have the same buckle on my Marker ski helmet and I must say that I completely agree with Sam. I never want another buckle again. Even with thick gloves on, it closes and opens easily.

Glad you made this video. My Ruroc was just delivered over the holidays; I went with the FEAR print and it looks sick!!!! My only concern is that the helmet feels like cheap plastic. I hope I don’t fall in concrete and ruin it.

I am definitely going to invest in one. I feel for snowboarding and electric skateboarding it would go with the gear comfortably and safe. For skateboarding i can not see myself wearing this helmet while trying go skate at the park it just to clunky but for other sports and activities i think its perfect.

Looks like the goggles aren't clipped in correctly. Try pulling down the mask bit and slide the goggles in so they sit firm against your nose and face. Found out I could do this as it didn't look right 👍🏼
