You guys should make an option that fits previous helmets, the original sound system messes with my ears a lot and it would be so much nicer to have these in the helmet that I ordered in 2019
Unfotunatley the new shockpod system will not fit in previous RG1-DX models??? I’ve bought my ruroc RG1-DX back in 2018 and the shockpods in 2022, only had to cut the piece of net on the side out and they fit perfectly inside. I’m more than happy with my helmet and shockpods. The sound is very good and loud enough on the slopes.

If I was to buy another ruroc (I’ve had 3 Rg1’s) I’d buy the berserker it’s made of the material the Rg1 should be made from (Carbon) But last I checked it didn’t have polarised lenses??? If not I’ll stick with my Reaper and my D.i.y Bose setup?

You guys should list the helmets which will fit in your store in the description part of the product. It is not clearly visible with which audiosystem each helmet will match.

couldn't agree with you more, asked for these for christmas not realizing I didn't have a compatible helmet. luckily I was able to modify my 2019 helmet to make them work ;)

I can say that they fit in also in the 2019 helmet i instalt them and the fit fine but you have to make a little hole in the side of the helmet

So it seems like if I only bought the limited edition in March, I now need to buy a brand new helmet for about £300 just so I get 50% off the new shock pod? So overall spend another £400 just to maybe get £100 off? Hmmm..... not sure if the maths really works...... I would rather stick with the old audio system..... 🤔

Gregory Burkhead hey, I hope somehow it will fit, but I took a real close look, I think the new side meshes are deeper and the side edges have a slightly deeper groove so the new audio can clip in. You can try and let me know. 😁
I have information that the only difference in construction of new RG1-DX is the removal mesh net for mounting new shockpods. That's why it looks different. But I can't say for sure that if you cut of the mesh net from last year's model than you will be able to mount new shockpods 🤷🏻♂️. Be aware that action would be impossible to reverse 🤦🏻♂️. However You can buy new shockpods and try to compere possibility of mounting them in real (just by the looks 😉) and if any unsure appear 🤔 that just send them back in unchanged condition 😅.

Will there be a similar side audio system for the Atlas (v1 or v2)? The buttons on the back are a real mess to use. My jacket sometimes pushes the Play button, which plays music while I’m on the road. Almost had accident because the sound was too high! I had to uninstall Spotify on my phone to prevent that.😑
Anthony Da Mota we will be continuing with the shockwave as it is for the moment, maybe change a few things in the future but for now no plans to change to the side vents like the ShockPods.

The shockpods are only compatible with the 20/21 models guys! You can check out the RG1 - Shockwave on the website for the 2019 models 💪

Using my shockpods in my helmet for the second year now prepping for the day tomorrow and they wont turn on. They have been stored in my house in ideal conditions. Ive never put them through hell i have literally had them for one season and i cant seem to get them to turn on after one season ive had them charging for plenty of time wtf is going on??? I just want my tunes in my helm. I love ruroc please help.

The ShockPods are compatible with 2020 Rg1-DX models only

i used mine the 1st time and they worked ok. used them the 2nd time and half way through the day they stopped working...
How does the audio work????? Like how?????? All I could tell was that those were the controls/buttons. Where does the come from???? Are there any speakers????
Speakers are mounting from inside and hard connected to the buttons panel.
Speakers are attached each side to the ShockPods and fit inside the helmet. They’re the upgraded speakers we’ve installed on our new shockwave system for the moto range :D

it's not DOT approved at all. Will serve you well on an E-bike or moped tho. They have a motorcycle helmet too. it's called the atlas
