This is Apollyon since it’s impossible to found out which real the fake will start acting anomalous and if the choose wrong one they will be 69 years old and won’t age again if they choose the right one it will change faster than the speed of light to switch around and and it does mean you choose correctly and you be very anomalous and will be on Keter duty.

  • The tests done on 054 crossed the line, no doubt. Being one of the original SCPs, it's stories like this one that led to the "canonical" formation of the Ethics Committee.

    @derekdrake8706@derekdrake87062 жыл бұрын
    • Ethics are a repromand for future thoughts, denying methods used previously to explore the world. Given time, those ethics change. They're mutable, much like morals and change with knowledge. What if those ethics change due to knowledge gained by breaking those ethical boundaries, rendering the ethical concerns unfounded. Do we limit ourselves where others don't, or are we more civilized? That ethics change from country to country is even more problematic. People don't care unless it affects 5hem or is in their garden.

They're not bad necessarily either. They're just a containment agency that do extensive research on what they apprehend. They do a lot to protect the world from dangers we couldn't possibly comprehend but also do things that most consider wrong as in SCP 054's case.

  • I am absolutely certain that the SCP 054, The Water Nymph, is a perfect example of how the Foundation pushes motto of "Cold, not cruel" to its absolute limit. The Nymph was originally incredibly happy, would regularly try to engage in conversation would staff, and if anything seemed to greatly enjoy its enclosure. But the Foundation chose to make the situation worse, torturing it time and time again, until it gained a now permament hatred for the male staff within its current location, and it would not surprise me if the moment it trusted the staff enough to conduct tests again, the Foundation would not hesitate to torture her even more

  • The one about 054 is definitely a rough one. But it's so well done. It starts out seeming like a normal entry, like here's this weird thing, let's tell you all about it, but as you go through it you realize that this entry isnt REALLY about the SCP... it's really about the Foundation itself. It's about their behaviors and ethics and such, and the question of how far do they NEED to go in order to do their job of protecting the world from anomalies? And the question of whether or not some researchers might be going TOO far, getting unnecessarily cruel... yet there's also the fact that nothing is in place to stop them from doing that. It's just another day of typical work and research at the SCP Foundation. Though of course due to the nature of the whole thing, this part definitely can change based on the writer. A great entry in any case.

Simplistic and brutal as it may be, the GOC's standard procedure of simply destroying any anomalies they find is a mercy compared to being intentionally held against your will and subjected to inhumane experimentation until you expire or the whims of your captors change.

  • The SPC's are a perfect example of how the human mind can take ANY given person, place or thing and turn it into your worst nightmare - and, people love it! These are some of the most creative I've ever heard. The animation goes along way here too. Very cool. Can you imagine.."what if"? What if there really was an organization like that? Maybe there is. To all 'myth', there's some spark of truth. And, with the advent of the internet, now that list is endless..I remember when the first group of about 2,000 SPC's were first uploaded. There was SO much controversy as to whether they were real or not. People went to all ends of the earth trying to dig up any info they could to validate or debunk them. I could easily see how people were taken by it. These rival anything found in Hellyweird and, personally, in my opinion, they surpass it and these are created by anybody talented enough to create them. Hellyweird has been rehashing everything for years now and they seem to have run out of ideas. Instead of re-stealing the same old shit, they should consult some new talent from these lists. Wouldn't you agree? The animation clearly demonstrates that they could potentially be the new 'Twilight Zones' for the new millennium. Very well presented here and DEFINITELY worthy of a thumbs up and script!

  • the best part about SCP 150 is that it's more or less a real thing. There's a type of barnacle that decided it wanted to be a crab, but instead of just evolving into one like other crab enthusiasts, they instead latch onto a real crab, and then grow "roots" into it through the gaps in its shell. These roots perfectly replace the crab's entire nervous system while the main body of the barnacle disguises itself as the crab equivalent of a pregnant belly, keeping the crab, regardless of its original sex, from thinking too hard about the thing clinging to it. When the barnacle is through, it has completely taken over the crab's body, giving it total control over its motor functions. The barnacle then pilots its new zombie crab body along the crab's normal migration to where it would have gone to release its eggs, but instead of crab eggs, it releases its own, provided it found a male barnacle at some point. And yes, this does mean that if you eat any significant amount of crab, you have most likely eaten one that had been body-snatched. It's nearly impossible to tell which is which just by looking, and thankfully isn't harmful to consume, but uh… yeah. That's a thing that exists.

    • Item #: SCP-6190 Object Class: Keter [See Incident-6190] Special Containment Procedures: All staff are to be aware of any entity who fits the description of SCP-6190, and if reported, are to be taken in for questioning. If SCP-6190 is not identified, the subject is to be administered Class-A amnestics and then are to be released. SCP-6190 is monitored world-wide and previously stated protocol is to be as followed if SCP-6190 is identified. MTF-“Watcher Washers” are to monitor SCP-6190 online media and are instructed to take down archive videos or prevent new videos from appearing. Description: SCP-6190 is a humanoid entity of the male gender, of unknown age, and is assumed to be Caucasian. SCP-6190 has the similar appearance of an SCP Foundation researcher. SCP-6190 has a face of which is never visible at any angle, and hides itself cleverly in any way, shape, or form. It is nor an anti-meme, but is coincidentally always in a situation that hides it’s face. However, SCP-6190 displays the immunity to all anomalous entities and can easily avoid all the anomalous properties of an SCP in any mean necessary. Not only can SCP-6190 avoid all anomalies, it has a vast amount of knowledge of them. SCP-6190 shares voice recordings of what is assumed to be itself reading SCP Foundation archives regardless of the clearance level, and posts them on the platform known as KZhead, and leak all private information about the anomalies contained and the Foundation itself. All videos contain explanations of the anomaly, and contain more information than the archive itself. Request to use SCP-6190 as a tool for containing anomalies has been asked, and is currently pending approval by the O5 Council. Incident-6190 SCP-6190 is classified as Keter as a note was left in SCP-6190’s previous recording site. The note read as follows. *How can you contain an entity of whom can’t be described?* Following this, two things were followed. Adjusted containment procedures, and the Keter class was requested, and approved. It has been learned SCP-6190 monitors the SCP Foundation, and special containment procedures were changed to insure the safety of all anomalies and Foundation information.
