These podcasts keep me from having to watch it in order to get my wrestling fix... Jim and to a lesser extent, Brian, have the key to my minds eye and I dont have to waste time watching wrestling hoping for something entertaining and being constantly disappointed
Nowadays I watch these podcast 1st, and then check out if something interesting happened on youtube. Instead of wasting 10 hours every week watching live wrestling. I think Revolution and Wrestlemania are the only live show I watched this year. And crown jewel cause everyone said Cody will show up in saudi lol

@@jtg1972 the podcasts help know what wrestling I would like to watch and what I want to avoid. Even if I watch a wrestling show before hearing the podcasts, the anticipation of hearing their thoughts and opinions is enough to get me through the bad wrestling and it makes the good stuff that much sweeter. And sometimes its fun to watch them back with Jim's commentary in the background. I'm not sure if you were genuinely wanting to know, or as Jim would put it, trying to take the piss out of my comment 😂.

I love that one of Jim’s replacement ideas for Knoxville is a 600 year old Mick Jagger.
I know Cornette writes that off as another Vince Junior oddity, but a lot of people in the US dislike the national anthem for a variety of reasons, and sing a variety of other patriotic songs in its place. The national anthem has always faced backlash, from the time it was proposed. It did get the majority "vote", but in the same manner Woodrow Wilson won the popular vote, because larger number of voters against it couldn't unite on what the better alternative was. A sword? At a wrestling event. It was actually used? Are we sure David McLane wasn't booking Wrestlemania this year?

at 24:30 they talk about Ciampa and HHH meeting after the match and which version of HHH's music plays, so I went on Peacock to look it up. they edited the HHH appearance out of the show! but they fucked it up so you see Ciampa waving to the audience for a split second while HHH's "King of Kings" music is in the background, so Corny was right about not hearing "time to play the game". why would they edit a live show like this? and if they were going to do it, how did they fuck up the edit like that? lol

I just watched the clip of Stone Cold stunning vince , looked like that single kick to the stomach, broke both of Vince's legs, and the whole time beer was bubbling out of Stone cold's mouth like he was drowning lmao lmao!!!!!!! LMAO
This Wrestlemania could have been just five matches, Edge vs Styles, Rhodes vs Rollins, Reigns vs Lesnar, Flair vs Rousey, Austin vs Owens IMO. Add a few more with the talent shuffled. Why waste an extra night and a dozen matches feature underwhelming midcarders or B-list celebrities on the card....

Cody's music and presentation are from his time on the indies. The line "from undesirable to undeniable" was from his speech after All In iirc.
Never thought I'd hear WWE making Jim Cornette want preshow matches! But it wasn't surprising. Builds are one of the few things WWE consistently gets right. If the build to Wrestlemania was weak, I imagine they knew it was weak and were trying to some last minute (or last two hour) course correction.
I love Brian’s laugh, especially when he really gets going.

For somebody who gets so hard over working out, you’d think he’d stop skipping leg day. That was sad… ik he’s in better shape than I’ll be when I’m 80, but I’m not gonna be in a wwe ring trying to take stunners when my legs are 80 year old jelly.

That was just a clip of this episode. Just so happens that those clips were as long as some other podcasts lol. I reckon it's because they know we wanted to hear his WM review without having to wait for this new episode.

Is there a way other then sending him an email beucase the may never go over the email and the email would be very long. I think it would be a good idea for a video .

I like the two nights as opposed to one for this reason I watch it live on the peacock, it's me 4.99 whether it's 1 night or ten nights. I can watch two four hour shows. But 8 straight is a slog.

Cody was cheered because he was in Texas, with a Texas tattoo, and comes from an important wrestling family. People watching wrestlemania may get the illusion that he is over but have to see where it goes long term. Aside from that no way Vince is sorry Cody wasn't champion. Cody was boring Jim is just super forgiving because of Cody's dad he wants to like him. We will see if being anti Aew can help cody or the fans just follow the texas audience.

@@northleedspoppa nothing I said was proven wrong lol. WWE booked him to look important and fans said he must be. He wasn't getting real reactions or selling much in aew. Simply moving into WWE wouldnt make you an instant star all of a sudden. It's the great marketing and planning by wwe that made it. If it was Cody he would of been the guy in aew

The whole point of Knoxville wrestling in the WWE WAS publicity. Not for the WWE but for Knoxville and Jackass 4. Jackass Forever came out on DVD this month and his appearance on WM was to promote the DVD release the same way his first match with Sami was done to promote the film's theatrical release. I'm sure Vince got a decent kickback from Paramount for doing two PPVs matches with Knoxville. And if Cornette wants someone to blame, blame Roman for killing the company financially to such a degree that Vince has to pull off these deals with Paramount to promote Knoxville's films on the show via having him wrestle on them.

It’s not Reigns fault. It’s money from advertising and promotion. I can’t stand the way they put commercials in the middle of every match. The pacing of WWE is awful. It’s like running a marathon in high heels.
