US-based National Airlines of Orlando, Florida 🇺🇸 invited Patrick and the AIRCLIPS Team to fly aboard their Queen of the Skies all the way from Europe to Asia and back. Early summer 2021 Patrick joined a DB Schenker charter rotation on a beautiful Boeing 747-400BCF from Munich (Germany 🇩🇪) via Karaganda (Kazakhstan 🇰🇿) for a fuel stop to Tokyo Narita (Japan 🇯🇵) and back via Seoul Incheon (South Korea 🇰🇷), with another fuel stop in Karaganda (Kazakhstan 🇰🇿) to Munich (Germany 🇩🇪). These five flights have been filmed using almost 30 cameras, resulting in the first two episodes of AIRCLIPS' new series "U.S. Jumbo Pilots". On the way from Munich to Tokyo enjoy First Officer Casie flying the giant aircraft and together with Captain Enrique sharing lovely stories from their very personal aviation backgrounds. On the return flight from Tokyo to Seoul and Munich, fantastic Captain TJ and First Officer Paul give you another extremely interesting and very entertaining insight into their lives as JUMBO PILOTS. Two films you will love with National Airlines - an air company you will love!
For all filming conducted in security restricted and/ or safety relevant areas, all required approvals are obtained well before our on-site work starts. Calls to and readbacks from ATC are re-enacted based on memory and outside of the actual communication.
At AirClips.com it’s all about YOU! Thank you for being with us and for your loyalty. It’d great to have you on board! Now fasten your seat belts, please…

  • Thank you, Patrick, for bringing us another great video!! Many thanks to Captain TJ and FO Paul for hosting us on this great flight on the queen of the skies!! Congratulations, captain, on your retirement, and I hope you have a wonderful and relaxing time in retirement! Thank you for the walk-around as well. It's always interesting to see what goes into a preflight inspection of the plane. I am very well-acquainted with them, as I spent 22 years in the military in the aviation community. I love to fly! And now we know the key to success at National Airlines....exception skill and good looks...LOL Thanks for that, Captain TJ. That was great! I think it would also be really exciting to be a simulator instructor, as the captain mentioned for his retirement plans. And how great for Paul to be able to realize his dream of being on the crew of the Queen!! I'm very happy for him. I also liked his comments on flying the various Airbus aircraft. I really like the Airbus planes. I've had the benefit of flying on a number of them! Just curious...why did you smear out the crew member at 1:23:55 or so? Did he wish to remain anonymous? Beautiful landing, captain!! Best wishes to all!

  • Wow!!!! What a monumental flight for the Captain. I wish you a great journey into your free time now. Have a wonderful retirement! My Dad flew RIO in the Thud! I turned out to only be a 40 watt bulb and couldn't see well enough to attain my dream as you have.

  • Patrick, I flew on a CRJ 700 yesterday! I went from KDCA to KMYR! I fly back to KDCA next Friday. I'm at Myrtle Beach, SC! I flew American Eagle (part of American Airlines). I also got to talk to my pilots before and after the flight! It was a quick 1 hour and 6 minute flight. I live fairly close to Myrtle Beach, but still too far to drive down, so we decided to fly down--and back. It was a great flight yesterday, but I wish the weather could cooperate. How's the weather in Germany this time of year? I've never gone, but one of my cousins is living there as a US Air Force member in the US Air Force band (clarinet). She lives in Lohnsfeld, Germany. I'm part German on my mom's father's side! I was in the band elementary-high school as a flute player! --Julia

    • Hey Julia, Well the weatcher is a bit cold for this time of the year but we got a nice clean sunny sky. The weather is perfect for some plane watching or for some air-clips to record. I hope you had a awesome flight and a good experience; I love the CRJ 700. Greetings from Patrick :)

  • So what was up with the FO's unofficial "walkaround", when the engines were not yet turned on, but were spinning faster than I would expect just from wind. Am I just underestimating how much a moderate breeze will spin them?

    @kevykevTPA@kevykevTPA Жыл бұрын
    • Oh yeah. That wind makes them look like they're running almost.

  • Interesting to see those JAL 772's parked without engines. Most likely the P&W ones as these are all grounded since that UA 772 incident where an P&W engine partly exploded during flight
