US-based National Airlines of Orlando, Florida 🇺🇸 invited Patrick and the AIRCLIPS Team to fly aboard their Queen of the Skies all the way from Europe to Asia and back. Early summer 2021 Patrick joined a DB Schenker charter rotation on a beautiful Boeing 747-400BCF from Munich (Germany 🇩🇪) via Karaganda (Kazakhstan 🇰🇿) for a fuel stop to Tokyo Narita (Japan 🇯🇵) and back via Seoul Incheon (South Korea 🇰🇷), with another fuel stop in Karaganda (Kazakhstan 🇰🇿) to Munich (Germany 🇩🇪). These five flights have been filmed using almost 30 cameras, resulting in the first two episodes of AIRCLIPS' new series "U.S. Jumbo Pilots". On the way from Munich to Tokyo enjoy First Officer Casie flying the giant aircraft and together with Captain Enrique sharing lovely stories from their very personal aviation backgrounds. On the return flight from Tokyo to Seoul and Munich, fantastic Captain TJ and First Officer Paul give you another extremely interesting and very entertaining insight into their lives as JUMBO PILOTS. Two films you will love with National Airlines - an air company you will love!
For all filming conducted in security restricted and/ or safety relevant areas, all required approvals are obtained well before our on-site work starts. Calls to and readbacks from ATC are re-enacted based on memory and outside of the actual communication.
At AirClips.com it’s all about YOU! Thank you for being with us and for your loyalty. It’d great to have you on board! Now fasten your seat belts, please…

  • Enrique the true professional! Delaying for the weather, then that tough landing - he was all over it and then very humble when it was finished. Good to see him and Casie develop their working relationship during the flight. And really good job Patrick, great video.

  • Captain Enrique's facial expression on touchdown at Narita said it all. She might be "Queen of the skies" when aloft, but in turbulent air on final, she can be a nasty tart. Great performance by the entire flight crew. Thank you Patrick for this excellent video.

  • Thank You National Air Cargo for letting us aboard. Thank you crew of Flight NC890 for being such excellent hosts, both letting us along for the ride and so generously allowing us to follow along your duties. I won't (part from this sentence) comment on crew professionalism, that's expected. And last but not least thanks to AirClips for making this happen and for excellent filming and editing. Way above and beyond good quality! There are many clips out there but the effort in sharing all details and angles syncronized when relevant and with consistency is making this so enjoyable AND pedagogic. Well done all involved, much appreciated. All the best from your friendly neigbourhood (av)geek in Sweden, Europe. ;)

  • My husband has a friend thats a pilot and he decided he wanted to be a pilot in high school. We luckily have university in our area that has a pretty top notch aviation program and he decided to be a pilot after he had a field trip kind of day to the college when he was in his junior year. The kicker is....he had never flown anywhere. Never even stepped foot into a aircraft of any type before. This was also pre KZhead so no easy access to videos like this. And now he's a pilot for a major US airline on the 737 and is training for the 787 to go international. I always get a kick out of that...how he just woke up one-day and was like "I'm going to be a pilot" 😄

  • Outstanding cockpit crew. Enrique’s calm voice and quick decisions were matched by Cassie's well organized and planned aircraft management. Her soft voice added to the calm in a very challenging pair of approaches. Guessing Cassie was not yet born when Enrique started flying. I expect that she will progress and eventually move to the left seat. As a former CH-46 pilot I was very impressed by the very professional cockpit communications. Patrick, can we get some more movies of Enrique and Mrs. Cassie. Semper Fi.
