  • Carmelo is not only very talented, he's a lovely lad. I heard him busking on the street in the centre of Jerez de la Frontera in the south of Spain where we live. We had a chat. He was just starting out on his journey. He came to my house to see if I could help him improve. I tried to help him out in many ways. I coached his singing and playing and stage presence. I gave him a microphone as he was singing in the street without one. I got him a new cover for his guitar and paid for the guitar to be repaired when it fell and broke. I lent him my amp etc to do a live gig. I invited him up on stage at a few of my gigs, and he blew the audience away. I got him going writing his own songs. Two songs we co wrote are my last album Lost and Found (out now on Bandcamp).Then I took him for his first ever time into a recording studio. And the next thing I know he 's on La Voz on Spanish tv. and I felt all my efforts were justified. To catch what he can do with a vocal check out my youtube video...'Cold Coffee (Ed Sheehan Cover) Carmelo new talent English singer'....this was just a rehearsal long before he got on national tv.
