Haitham Mohammed Rafi (Хейтам Рафі) was born and raised in Oman, where he still lives. However, he is obsessed with Ukrainian music and culture. After accidentally stumbling on an episode of The Voice of Ukraine, he was hooked and decided to compete. His Coach, Dan Balan, got him all the way into the semi-finals!

I am a Sri Lankan living in Australia. Lived in Oman for more than 13 years. One of the best and friendliest nation on this earth. Watching this brought joyful tears into my eyes. So proud! Go Oman 🇴🇲 go!!!!!!

Arabic songs are the best ever, not because I am an Arab, but I have been living in Greece for six years and Turkey for three years, and I am fluent in Greek and English. The Ukraine is absolutely fantastic. All of Haitham's performances were magical and his musicality phenomenal. His mentor Dan Balan is to be applauded for his great coaching and allowing Haitham to shine in his own style. I love the Ukraine's talent. BRAVO to all.

Oman 🇴🇲 is such a unique calm peaceful arab country, completely different than the rest of the arab world. And lm happy he chose two algerian 🇩🇿 songs. They were amazing. 💕

I'm from Tunisia and I'm so in love with his performances the Joy his voice radiates is unreal .I'm also in love with the Ukrainian audience who appreciated this music even though the scales the instruments and the language is unfamiliar to them! Can we all agree that first... Haitham is an AMAZING singer. Second... there will NEVER be a coach like Dan Balan... that man is SOOOOO excited for Haitham every single time he sings. I don't think music effects people the way it effect Dan, but he shows it so well because every time he's enjoying a song you can just see him express it so joyfully!
