Other players don't do these shots because they simply don't NEED to do these kinds of shots. Great player would cannon the red from the black and not just going around and eventually pot it along the cushion like Trump did. It's a good pot but it just shows how Trump either can't or don't want to do those simple shots just to make the clearance easier. He is willing to entertain the crowd and it's good but I will never name Alex Higgins, Jimmy White, Willie Thorne etc. the best player the game has ever seen. He is a great entertainer but logically truly the greatest players avoid to make these shots, which is wise as there's no 100% possibility you'd pot it.

They would prefer cannoning the ball and not trying to pot off the cushion because there is no sense in it if you cannon the ball. The easier it looks, the more effective break becomes. Judd prefers doubles, plants, off the cushion shots etc. It makes YOU feel he's the greatest potter but I gonna tell you he isn't. Have you seen other players performing these shots? No. Me either. It's not because they CAN'T make these shots, it's because they DON'T NEED to make these shots. Not because they're TOO HARD TO PERFORM, but because THERE IS NO SENSE IN DOING THEM due to the great positional play of these players. For example, in the end of the video Judd pots the black in a very strange manner, it's cool but have you seen other players making so? @@Bobby-fj8mk Nah, basically just a shot that pool players would play. Only that we rarely see Snooker players play that style. Judd Trump does it alot. Far more risky, but also allows to get out of situations where other players would play a safety and risk prolonging the frame tenfold. (also needless to say, the table is larger than a pool table, but the technique for shots like this is still the same)
@@PsychedeliKompot - it's too hard on a large table.
Trump is far and away the best and most entertaining to watch!
Cue ball dances to his tune
Judd is definitely the ace in the pack!
Those first three shots were ridiculous
8:33 Oh, yea, sure, who needs physics anyways. And all of that with what looks like absolutely zero effort. I'm calling aimbot.
I still don’t know how/why that ball stops all of a sudden
@@kharkhar308 He applied so much topspin to the cue ball that it persisted after it hit the top cushion and slowed the momentum of the ball down to land perfectly behind the brown. All while making it look like he's just goofing around. Crazy shot.
@@xXRandomCamperXx wow and thats Judd Trump for you
this was accomplished because of physics. not in spite of :)
3:03 ABSOLUTELY WOW !
"Potting them off the lampshades" has a new exponent.
Thanks Dave(Well done for turning up), well done Judd( you know your another class so I ain’t gona l praise you to much😬😬😬)
Creative genius.
I have been playing billiards for nearly 30 years mostly 8 ball and 9 ball. I truly love the dynamics of it. But I had never heard of snooker is there anywhere in Texas, Oklahoma, or Arkansas that I could go to learn and play?
I have to believe with how large Texas is, there are Snooker tables. There is at least one or two in Minnesota in the metro area.
@@Mak933 I did a little Googling and found a place in Houston that's 200 miles. Lol I will just keep watching on KZhead.
8:34 it's crazy what those people are doing with the cue ball.
JOGA MUITO
Можно сколь угодно долго кричать Ронни, но совершенно понятно, что самый гениальный снукерист всех времён и народов-ДЖАДД ТРАМП!
The best power Potter of them all.
@David Riley Ok, I guess you are part of the Ronnie fan club, but at least read the whole sentence. The guy said "the best power potter", not the best potter of all time. And Judd's cue power is obvious.
Love from PAKISTANIS
8:35 Sometimes he needs to disguise his telekinetic powers better than that.
I was just about to comment that. Telekinesis and all.
The way the cue ball just stops dead in its tracks at 8:40 ish is just incredible
This man is a legend !
It's too early to say this
@@homeofsnooker147 No I don't think so ..... Legends are also made at young age not necessary that a legend should be well experienced person of old age
A Perfect example of : “Fortune favours the brave”.!! 😂😂
The Most entertaining and greatest player so far
So far? Are you crazy?
ชอบมากคนนี้
The one and only king of cue power!
2:03 Alex Higgins-esque
6:19, mark william thinking: this kid is going to be huge trouble for me and Roni O'sullivan in near future
My first love is Rocket Ronnie, but Trump has some amazing skills. He can almost direct the balls at will!
The main thing is to find form
he reminds me of myself (up to the point of striking the ball). I have one of the best amateur stances
how did you get that thumbnail when judd was screaming
That is not Trump. It's Carter when he beat O'Sullivan
@@vinegum8835 lmao I sent this a year ago. Time flies
@@maxkennedysnooker2450 Hehe, I now...
Judd- the Entertainer!
He is the best but not best of all time . If he learn to control the pressure then he will be the Best of all time.. He is my fav btw😊
If Ronnie ever retires it will be judd who brings in the crowds he does it now of course with his ability and flair but there’s no one else even close to Ronnie and Judd and they keep snooker alive and exciting for the new watchers/ players coming through it’s what the game has always needed in Alex then Jimmy Ronnie and Judd who’s coming next I wonder
The physics stopped physicsing on that 8:34 shot
5:08 anyone know the full rule as to why the black is placed in the pink space?
The only player who makes the snooker table look like an English pool table.
Executes the shots few players even dream up. Facts
Trump is the uncrowned king of snooker life.
But he got the tripple crown
1:35 🔥
That last shot really took the piss
He is the master of making next ball
Why does the thumbnail have a photo of Scott Donaldson?
Amazing cue ball action, I’m still trying to figure out how he controls the cue ball like it’s on rails!
Welcome back back back back back
reminds me of Alex Higgins
2:02 Ghost of Alex Higgins is hiding back
9:55 Thanks dad, well done
Judd Trump is a prototypical left handed human being.
Judd❤❤❤❤
It's hard to read or even think about his madness cause his poker face when he playing makes me think he is so serious and sensible and he is rarely smiling ( only when he is winning or happy)
4:17 sink the pink. Such talent.
This guy is magic
Mark Williams face in background after doubling the yellow
This guy should run for President!!!
9:47 😳🔥
I would vote for this Trump rather than the one across the Atlantic. He is a Master of the masters.
👍
Judds B game is now formidable the next 10 years he should be domminat.
Best president in history.
poor higgins 😂
This is trump class❤
7.30 BEST SHOT
5:17
Ronnie is the king of snooker and trump is the Prince lol 😆
he reminds me a lot of the young Jimmy White
Of all the players today. He is the nearest to Alex.
Alex wouldn't have had a chance.
