    • 100% correct. Peace comes through strength, no weakness. China is dangerous because they’re in terminal decline. This is a threat to the leadership and they know it. Their demographic catastrophe has no means of recovery and China will cease to be a major world power in the next 20 years. This is why the US companies invested in China are in a made rush to re-shore, friend-shore, and near-shore their facilities outside of China. All that said, China will not attack Australia. The US could and would immediately shut down all oil and food imports to China and they would have a 500 million person starvation event within six months.

  • If I remember correctly from WWII, in an attempt to cut Australia off from support and force it into submission the Japanese had control of the Solomon Islands and most of Dutch East Indies islands. Initially their plans were to convoy raid the Australian trade routes to the point that would force the country into submission but if that didn't work (and the Japanese didn't think it would) they would invade Australia to force its surrender. The Japanese planned to use Papa New Guinea as a staging base for invasion. They had almost completed the capture of Papa New Guinea but thankfully the United States navy and the allied army were able to intervene in time to stop that from happening. Personally I see something similar playing out right now before our eyes. I think China is trying to set itself up to where it doesn't have to invade Australia but rather just cut its trade routes long enough to force Australian submission. At the moment I don't see China successfully pulling off an amphibious assault on Australian shores much less a full blown invasion. The one thing I appreciate that the United States, Australia, Great Britain, and the Japanese have all in common is naval combat experience in these geographical areas.

Only in certain cases, the Chinese would only instead use the military to threaten them if they have the absolute confidence/advantage to do so at a time of crisis/conflict...

    • @@sibaraku2023 Chinese coal is of very low quality, whereas Australian coal is among the best in the world. So, using Australian coal results in much cheaper prices due to not requiring to use as much. On top of that, Chinese coal powered fire station and steel mills have been built to use the higher quality Australian standard rather than Chinese produced coal. This is what led to the import ban back-firing on China and contributing to power outages. It doesn't take much research to see that China is the largest importer of coal, as well as the biggest producer. The reasons I've mentioned above are why they still import so much.

If we had a trading block like that, China would soon change it's mind about being communist and tortuturing and murdering its political opponents. 20 years ago we practically didn't have any trade with China and things were quite good for Australians economically. We don't need China, China needs the democratic countries of the world a lot more than we need them.

If the ADF was “preparing for war with China” enlistment would be increasing, which it isn’t. Military branches that have been outsourced to civilian contractors would be re-instated and the frequency and magnitude of war games would also increase. As for US presence in Australia, the arrangement to stage American forces in the Pacific was coming due for renewal and who better to partner with and station troops with other than your allies? This would be the least factually accurate video I’ve seen from your channel. Try finding a media source that isn’t Murdock Media next time.

China has a lot of domestic problems it's facing right now, and war is not going to make it any easier on their domestic population to tackle these problems at home. People think war is profitable. After it's over, maybe, but during war it's usually a lot of sacrifice for civilians, not windfalls.

Resulting in less youths for its factories & other manual labour tasks. Unless the Chinese eliminate Xi and undergo political reform to become a democracy like Taiwan, I don't see the trade they so heavily relied on returning.

Our country spends obscene amounts of money on our military so we tend to be very choosey about who gets access to our best technology. Australia also shares/gives technology to the US...which I'm sure we pay for. In these situations..."giving" isn't really a comment on the price tag as much as it's an expression of trust. This isn't true.Australia has gone to war many times, often in support of our allies, starting all the way back in WWII. We have always stood by and supported America and the United Kingdom. In fact I don't think there's been any war the USA has been a part of that that Australia wasn't there fighting with them. We do a lot of humanitarian and peacekeeping missions but in addition to wars over the year. Forgetting that is rerespect to the those who gave their live in service.

  • I really appreciate your video, which brings attention to the danger of China. As an ex-Taiwanese special force operator, I will fight to my last breath to protect our democratic ways of life and my children if war breaks out. Please remember that we're not just some "remote island". If we fall, the first island chain breaks, and Taiwan strait becomes Chinese controlled. From the east coast of Taiwan, China will then be able to send its nuclear submarines to the Pacific without the US knowing it, and the whole west coast of the US will be under the fire range of their submarines. Japan and Korea may also have to bow to China because most of their energy supplies and trades go through the Taiwan strait. US influences will be significantly weakened, and most likely the US dollar will collapse as a result. If you think carefully, we are more like a gatekeeper of the free world.
