Bear Hunting Fish
A cute bear can be seen taking a stroll in a stream, but he’s there for a reason. He’s hungry and he wants to catch a fish, which he does. Once in his mouth, he fiddles with the fish, bites into it, and drops it in the water again. I guess eating for some bears means having a little fun too. The polar bears at this zoo have their own little pond with real fish in it, so they can imitate life in the wild and retain some of their wild instincts by going fishing.
On the Brooks, River is the Katmai National Park, which is a bear showing off its fishing skills. They watch some of them get away, but it’s only a matter of time before they make a catch. Eventually, they must go for it, regardless of the danger. The numbers are on their side. For every salmon that gets caught, hundreds mated past the bears.
Bear Hunting Deer
The bear in this video attacks a buck in the water, but it seems like the bear is too slow to grab its prey, as the buck moves away from the bear quickly enough, to avoid being killed. An injured fawn is grabbed by a bear in the middle of the night, as mom watches helplessly. Once the fawn is gone, mom arrives and smells the ground, trying to figure out where her offspring is. You'll see how swift bears are in our next video. Deers move quickly but watch as this massive bear chases down and catches up to a deer.
This bear is enormous, and it's sprinting at least as quickly as the deer. Bears, it was always said, are the most difficult animals to flee from. They can sprint and swim faster than we can, and they can climb trees better and quicker than we can. Bears will hunt deer, and deer are plentiful where bears reside, thus finding them is not difficult for bears, as shown in this video, when this bear chases a deer and as it is slowly catching up to its prey, the deer crashes into a fallen tree and falls, making it easier for the bear to tackle its prey.
Bears do not hunt mercilessly. They hunt. Mercy is a human thing
You just contradicted yourself.
They do hunt mercilessly. They hunt, without mercy. The very meaning of merciless.
@@eugenewalter3170 is that like getting a ticket for"reckless driving"
Just watch the video ya dingus
mercy is also an animal thing, and many animals show compassion like elephants which also show an incredible level of agression during their horny season
A bear has to be the most terrifying predator you could encounter. They run, climb, and swim far more effectively than we could ever hope to. A tree that wasn’t sturdy enough to hold a bear’s weight, but was still easy enough for us to climb. Swimming, or running? Forget it!

You said caribou like 3 different ways. 😂 It gave me the giggles.
The video portion of this is outstanding. The narrative is the the absolute opposite. "Taking him to his kitchen", give me a break.
Yeah! His attempt at humor is lousy!
WTF is a "Cari-Bow"?
You're right. I only made to 2;57.
Ya and they are not caribows.
I’m convinced these KZhead channels are AI generated. The commentary is always odd, the language is disjointed and the pronunciation is bizarre.
Something that big. Moving that fast. Wow!
Seriously?! He pronounced "caribou" correctly at the beginning of the scene, but after that kept calling them caribow. And walruses don't have "fangs", they have tusks
Lol, i was just thinking the same thing I hate when people keep pronouncing stuff wrong
Feeling pedantic today, are we?
Some people are desperately waiting for someone to make a mistake can't you just watch the video without shiting?
@@F4IZ_4li I have to agree with them, kinda, if someone is going to make a video, wouldnt it make sense to use correct pronounciation? Just sayin.

Those pained cries of the prey were horrific.
That's the world every single day, hundreds of thousands of prey, pained cries of death and dying. That's how it's been long before humans came to evolve, including the time of the dinosaurs, and that's how it will continue to be for as long as the Earth continues to exist. I cringed every time he said "caribow" [caribou]. :)
He's Canadian 😂
“Merciless” in the eyes of a human; but in the wild there is ABSOLUTELY no other way.
I think it's the fact that bears don't know how to kill prey effectively unlike tigers and lions (since they're omnivores.) So they mercilessly torture their prey before ending it (eating them while it's still alive)
@@ravellegouw7292 Omit the “merciless” already.
@@paulespinoza974 It's merciless
@@paulespinoza974why would we omit merciless when it’s literally the only way to describe it? Lions and other powerful predators kill first then eat. Bears torture mercilessly until there is no life. Drop the stupidity.
@@simonz5002 Once again, you're using a human term...torture.
These folks are so great with Stepan. I watch them over and over and it makes me smile and feel happy to see these good people caring for that magnificent beast. I have just begun learning about bears and I am hooked. I can't get enough! I know bears are wild and you cannot tame their natural instincts but there are a few wonderful people out there that have a way with bears and treat them very very well when otherwise the bear might not have survived or been in circus in a cage. Stepan is a fortunate bear and has such a great personality!! Thank to these good folks for sharing their experience. God bless!!
What?!?! Never knew polar bears were canniballistic. Thats WILD.
Rabbits too
Some prey lasts hours it's awful to listen to as some bears kill them slowly even eating the prey from the legs up
The entire Animal Kingdom hunts!
"Bears derive their name from a football team in Chicago." This whole video sounds like Strange Wilderness lmao
*Bears are apex predators and fierce hunters. They have a variety of techniques they use to hunt their prey, depending on the species of bear and the type of prey they are targeting. Grizzly bears, for example, are known for their ability to take down large animals such as moose and bison. They typically use an ambush-style attack, quickly rushing their prey and overpowering them. Black bears, on the other hand, are more opportunistic hunters and will eat whatever prey is most readily available. They often use a combination of stalking and chasing to capture their prey.*
The population of polar bears has increased a lot in the past 20 years
They are doing what they are supposed to do mercy has NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. removing the weak or stupid ones from the herd. Mother Nature at her best!! 😀👍👍
But wants to complain when humans do the same 😂
Hence the word "mercilessly".
Spoken like a future general in satan's army 🔥👺🔥
Like Joe Rogan says. Bears tare you apart while you still alive and strip you down. Big cats bite in your neck to take you out
What's a Caribow?
That was awesome the Husky saving its mate 👍
"Bears hunting mercilessly" nature doesn't know the definition of mercy. When a lion sees a baby zebra after they ate the mother, do you think they spared the baby because it was sorry? No, it wouldn't attack because it's already eating something
They adopt the baby...
@BrianSmith-xs3ho they do that sometimes Edit: I would like to note, this Behavior only happened around 5 times in history
Lions and Tigers kill their prey before eating by going for the throat first. Bears on the other hand eat their prey alive while inflicting suffering all the while.
@@BrianSmith-xs3ho Ggg
@@yungabdul1871lions nd tigers do that cze they don't have much stamina. They usually leave their prey if it defends itself for a longer time nd they aren't able to get to it's throat. Beers are tanks. They have enough stamina to chase preys for like 2,3 kms. They don't get tired early. They can keep on attacking the animal for like 20-30mins untill it finally exhaust itself nd gets devoured by the beer.
Tuco in the movie The Good Bad and Ugly said once: If you're going to shoot SHOOT...don't talk. That bear didn’t give up in that Caribou lol @6:14
Impressive. You wouldn't think it could run faster than deers and other lean animals.
They can't sprint faster but they can surely outrun even horses when they're on a long chase. Sheer stamina of a bear. 🤌
I don't agree with the people beeping at the bear eating the boar, you can't get involved like that
"A deer" over and over for Elk calves is killing me
Those are some tough Huskies.
The bear jumping 😂
They climb faster, run faster, swim faster, wrestle better. Im scared of getting eaten alive by a bear even though there are none in my country
You can't even scare them like lions nd tigers. 🥲
They are SO FAST. How can something so huge and bulky move that quickly? Us slowpoke humans don't stand a chance.
Human have pokey stick. Bear die.
Walruses are a buncha giant ninnies!
If you encounter a leopard, you'll be spared, if you encounter a lion, you may be spared, if you encounter a tiger, you might be spared but if you encounter a bear, you'll be dead.
This is my first video of yours, and I have to say I love the way you produce your content
The "carabow" shit turned me right off.
Mercy doesn't exist to the bear. It feels/knows it is hungry, or something is too close to her territory. Amazing how quick, agile, AND powerful they can be. Actually, You do have a chance of escaping a black or brown (Grizzly). Most attacks tend to be territorial in nature, So Many have survived mauling by these omni-vores. So pray it's brown and NOT white.... Polar bears are total carnivores. So when they attack a person they kill and EAT that person. Nature is ruthless.
Great vid 👌

With a Good Example of Life, being shown Especially True amongst the Bear's 🐻🐻❄️🐻 and in Thier critical Domain? I've Said & Stated it before? That I've Only Ever had a High School Education, & No College Level or Other Higher Specialized Teaching's. And the nagging ceaseless, & Continuing Issues of Our Conflicts, with these Mighty Apex Predators on Our Planet. So too Close this POV, Comment on the Greatly appreciated Previous Video, which was so Very Informative. Any Bad Criticism I had? Was with some Minor issues of the prey Animals Correct identifacations being Wrong or Mistaken? Also the Narrator's Clarity in Pronouncing a few of the Animals Names was Poor.
