  • At this rate, Putin will only have 5 or 6 thousand pieces of armor in a year or so. And he may have to conscript another 80 thousand troops from the pool of 10-11 million men between 18 and 50 years of age in Russia. Still able to sell gas to Europe too? How is that lack of complete embargo working? It's a funny war with places like Germany still "fence sitting" and Hungary, Slovakia and Serbia pretty much aligned with Russia. Plus a good 25% or mor of Bulgarians are strangely pro Russian even though they were treated fairly poorly for most of the post WW2 Soviet occupation. It seems that money speaks to power and then in those local power speaks to the masses. To eliminate Russian influence in Eastern Europe, will take a lot more time and effort by Western European leaders and America. It can be done, but it will take a decade or two still.

  • Russia has lost 1/3rd of the black sea fleet Russia is at a staggering 400k + Kia Russia has lost almost all of its modern equipment and a chunk of its fighter planes. Russia is having to recruit from Somalia, India, Nepal and other third world countries to minimise at home damage. Russia has been degrading and humiliated militarily with a small % of NATO's budget. Russia is losing it's oil refineries and heading towards bankruptcy. Russia has seen almost 2 mutiny's since the start of the invasion. No matter how this war ends it has absolutely been devastating for Russia

  • Rebels or Freedom Fighters, guess depends on your point of view doesn't it. Well, one thing for sure, is that the regular Russian soldiers there do not fight like the Ukrainian soldiers when someone comes attacking their homeland, or maybe just maybe they realize the attackers are also Russians and this is a civil war for them. Expect the ranks of the Freedom Fighters to swell.
