@@pierrepedreira8016 existem realatos que ele mesmo da em entrevistas onde ele dizia implicar com algum sujeito só pelo csra ser forte, ai descia o cacete no cara com a desculpa que o cara era marrento, mas no meu ver me parecia muito mais uma insegurança dele mesmo, nao me leve a mal, eu treino jiu-jitsu desde de moleque e sou professor, jiu-jitsu é a minha vida, mas a gnt tem que saber separar, Hélio e sua família foram essenciais para a evolução do Jiu-jitsu, porém tem algumas histórias que nao são muito legais, voce pode ver algumas histórias em documentarios, pod casts e entrevistas, oss.

From the beginning till 1:15 Helio asks the student how to get out from those situations and shows him an easier way without relying on physical strength, but technique. 1:15 Helio says that the student has a natural physical strength given by God. Helio says it is a privilege he doesn't have. Helio says that physical strength is very beneficial, but the student must forget about it in order to work on his technique, so he won't need to rely only on physical strength. Also says that there will be a time when the student will be able to apply this physical strength on top of his technique. 2:15 they go back to practice situations and Helio corrects some of the students' moves and posture. 4:25 Helio asks the student to get out. When the student tries, Helio asks: "What about that other hand? Aren't you going to use it?" The student says: "Right, right" 4:40 Helio tells the student to keep going from the mount and asks the student "What is this hand doing here?" (Note that he meant to make the student think about it, not actually answer it) 4:50 Helio tells to student to get out of there without using physical strength. He jokes "Using that much strength, you're going to kill the old man" (That's why they laugh) 5:00 Helio says he's still using too much strength. Asks: "What if it's another strong guy? Is it going to be strength vs strength?" 5:25 Helio tells him to hold tight and to not let him go. When Helio gets up, he asks the student if the student feels him using any physical strength 6:00 Helio tells the student that the move the student just used wouldn't work that easily on a guy above 100 kgs (220lbs). 6:25 Helio asks the student: "Is this how you're going to get out of this? What if I wanted to punch your face?" When the student uses the right move, Helio proceeds to tell the student (6:40) to distinguish between fighting and personal defense and that he can actually do both. 7:40 He says that if something like that hits the arm, it will break it. Then moves closer telling the student that he might know what to do when closer. 8:52 The student says he doesn't know any moves against knives 9:00 Helio says jokingly that the hardest students are the very inteligent ones and the very strong ones, and that this student is both. He tells the student he must learn to do everything all loose without relying on strength, then after he can do it, he can apply his strength. 9:50 Helio tells the student to mount him and try to "win". Helio says he will show how he can gain time and stop him without any physical effort. 11:00 Helio's wife comes in and Helio introduces her to the people in the room. She says something about buying cheese? The audio is pretty bad. 12:10 Helio says that with all this effort, a trained guy like Helio noticed that after some time, the student got tired. Helio says is almost impossible to win against a stronger guy fast. That's why he wants to make the other tired, annoyed. He says that the whole point is to be loose, annoying. 13:01 Helio asks the student's name and I'm not sure if he said it to the student or the guy filiming who seems to know the student very well, but Helio calls one of them "teacher/professor Werneck" (I know the student's name is Cássio Werneck, but when Helio called Cassio inteligent, the filming guy said thanks) 13:08 Woof

Em 1989 eu, tive o privilégio de conversar por 2 minutos com o Mestre Hélio Gracie. Na época; após a rápida conversa eu, lhe perguntei no final; Como posso ser um Mestre? E ele me perguntou; o que você pretende ser? eu, respondi; ser militar. E, ele então me respondeu; estude a esfera militar como um todo, e seja mestre de si mesmo.

@@pierrepedreira8016 existem realatos que ele mesmo da em entrevistas onde ele dizia implicar com algum sujeito só pelo csra ser forte, ai descia o cacete no cara com a desculpa que o cara era marrento, mas no meu ver me parecia muito mais uma insegurança dele mesmo, nao me leve a mal, eu treino jiu-jitsu desde de moleque e sou professor, jiu-jitsu é a minha vida, mas a gnt tem que saber separar, Hélio e sua família foram essenciais para a evolução do Jiu-jitsu, porém tem algumas histórias que nao são muito legais, voce pode ver algumas histórias em documentarios, pod casts e entrevistas, oss.
O mestre Helio Gracie parecia ser uma pessoa muito boa, coisa rara. Sorte de quem teve oportunidade de conhecê-lo e principalmente ser seu aluno.

Se é loco o Véio era ninja, o que mais gosto nos mais velhos é isso, a sabedoria. O cara fazendo uma força terrível, o samurai idoso chegou lá e falou não é isso, e com apenas dois movimentos acabou.
Uma lenda viva um mestre genuíno e humilde mostrando a força que o aluno tem, sem se agigantar encima do aluno afinal ele é um mestre consagrado, testado e que através dele surgiram vários campeões.
Que honra nossa também aprender com essa aula. Mas principalmente do guerreiro, que aprendeu direto do inventor da arte. Seria como aprender a tocar com Mozart, a pintar com Michelangelo e outros...
