  • Realistically calling them a tomb raider or antiquarian would be far far more accurate than calling them an archaeologist, so I agree with their choice of words. They're literally just interested in a few objects of value where an archaeologist is interested in everything with the goal of recreating the culture.

Also, I always thought that the glow stick is meant to stand in for Lara's road flares from Tomb Raider 2 and Tomb Raider 3. (the games, not the movies) The Shiva statue in the same tomb is meant to be a reference to the Shiva statue sub bosses in Temple Ruins of Tomb Raider 3.

Doesn't change the fact that people spell it differently and pronounce it Jasmine. So anytime I give my name I have to spell it because of this. And yes it's a flower, an actual thing. But with names rules go out the window. My middle name has issues too, it's spelled the same and said two different ways. And I know people pronounce it based on which one they've heard more. My 1st name has only been a problem for the last decade. It sucks but I don't get mad because that's what it is. Just be glad your name is simple I guess.

  • I always think of this as my favorite movie featuring an American woman with a bad English accent opposite an Englishman with a bad American accent. It would have been just as realistic if they went ahead and dubbed eachother's dialog. The accents would have been right and then they could just adjust for pitch.

  • Even if all the planets were on the same orbital plane, they wouldn't all lineup perfectly every 5000 years lol. The 4 inner planets alone only lineup perfectly every 180k years. All 8 planets lineup every 1.1x10^21 years (1.1 sextillion). Since Pluto was still a planet when Tomb Raider was made, it would take all 9 planets 2x10^26 years (200 septillion) to lineup perfectly. Never going to happen. Not to mention how they'd never all look that close to each other lol. If you had a telescope zoomed in on Jupiter, Saturn would look about 3x smaller, Uranus 13x smaller, Neptune 20x smaller, and you wouldn't even see Pluto.
