Darrick has been away for 1.5 yrs, i am so lucky to witness the bond that they have .. Elephants do not forget ..

@@vblackwell3347 Darrick was away for 14 months working to help rescue Kaavan, the Pakistan-zoo elephant, to move him to Cambodia Wildlife Sanctuary, to create his enclosures, shelters, pool, etc., to prepare for Kaavan's arrival, and to get him there. It was a big job. Darrick made this video kzhead.info/sun/erV9qb2fgWmaeY0/bejne.html while there, and others. So Darrick's absence was the big job of rescuing Kaavan, and all the work to get Kaavan's place ready; it had nothing to do with anything wrong. Their mission in Life, elephants always! Smile, everything is alright. Kham La just missed Darrick very much!
How wonderful is this Darrick you are the King and Lek is the Queen for the elephants this is ... I am speechless. They are so happy the elephants my first was Tong Ae and Faa Mai my fosters. So many elephants you have save Lek bring them to her Kingdom and look now how happy they are in Freedom.

That was a most beautiful moment to see...the elephants came home "because they wanted to see their loved whom care for them in a sweet and gentle way"......,i have been fighting for all animals to be free from abuse, neglect or torture all of my life!!! ....i am glad i have lived this long to see this very special moment happen....this is my kind of HEAVEN!!!!

Darrick was rescuing Kaavan, the elephant from the zoo in Pakistan, and taking him to Cambodia Wildlife Sanctuary, was building his enclosure, his shelter, pool, etc., readying his new home for him, and getting him there. The close friendship bond is between Kham La and Darrick, not the others. Darrick cares about them all, but elephants aren't dependent on affection from people unless they are bonded to them, like Kham La is to Darrick, like Faa Mai is to Lek. Elephants love elephants, more than they love people, unless there's a special bond. Don't feel bad, don't feel sad, they were happy, they spent more time around Darrick in the hour that followed this video (there are other videos from the same late afternoon, the same day). All the elephants in Kham La's herd are happy, they all knew it was a special reunion, as they hadn't seen Darrick for 14 mos., when Darrick was away rescuing another elephant far away (Kaavan.) Keep in mind that their routine at this time of day is to head back to their shelters for dinner. They knew they had yummy food waiting for them in their night shelters. 😋🍉🍌🌽🥒🍍🐘💞
