Knowing that she is safe and free to scratch when and where it itches, that she can walk at her own pace, that the humans around her are gentle and loving and kind... it must be difficult to trust after all that has happened in her life, put the patience and love surrounding her give me great gratitude for every being at ENP and every person who helps to make this happen for all creatures. The first thing the 7 did was scratch. I’ve imagined what it would be like to be chained up and have an itch that you’re unable to scratch. Torturous. Some of them don’t even have full tails or hair on their tails to chase flies away. So thankful for ENP.
