GTA 5: Takumi's 'Initial D' Toyota Corolla AE86 - Karin Futo GTX REPLICA BUILD!
Finally we have access to a proper Trueno hatchback in GTA 5, and you know I HAD to recreate Takumi's AE86 - this is the first of many replica builds that I'll be doing for the Los Santos Tuners DLC, so stay tuned for more content coming VERY soon!

The legend of Tofu Delivery Hachi Roku with up and down headlights has finally arrived in the game.
Yeah I immediately sold my blista compact and replaced it with this. The blita compact was the closest to the real AE86 untill this car came

Something I like about the Livery is the subtle change in the back says Tofu instead of Futo that’s pretty sick

Fun fact about livery: With "Delivery boy" livery, "FUTO" letter on back of car turns into "TOFU". This shows some backstory of Futo and GTX ver. *Futo's prototype name was "Drift" , but it made into shorter (Dorifuto -> Futo) when it released. *Futo is also anagram of "Tofu", which is traditional food and what always Takumi delivering. *Maybe bacause of old car, really soft(it can be bended easily than other) even tuning "100% armor" these fact is just a piece of iceberg, there must be more fun fact with this "Japanese soul" car. thanks for reading, and sorry for long comment

I wish they put mudguards options so that we could make it even more like the initial d build. Also, they need to make the headlights carbon when you make the hood carbon.
That's true, there's a lot of little things Rockstar could've done for some of these DLC cars.
@@StevieWunderKid Also, I forget what episode it was, but they ended up upgrading takumi's suspension and it was slightly lower than stock. The suspension option right under stock is more accurate for the project d build.
Tip for everyone if you want to unlock the trade price for this futo: You unlock a trade price every 5 levels. For example if you reach level 10 but don’t unlock the futo trade price, close the game and start it again and you’ll be back on level 9. Just get to level 10 again and you might unlock the futo. It took me one try.

The white hood works better for any version of this car because the crabon hood was the last addition save for the suspension replacement added takumi blew in the end of stage 4

If I remember right the accent or trim color affects the headlights. So you can change the headlights to black if u change it from white to black

Yeah, they are a bit overkill on some of the tuner cars for sure. The Futo GTX can drift very well with just the power upgrades and stance.

There is one modification you said wrong for this car I recently watched a clip of the anime and the interior color for the lights are green they are a bright green

It all has to be carbon to fit into the lore of Project D. They took the whole car apart and saved every gram. So everything in the Engine has to be carbon as well
For my fellow poor/early players the Dinka Blista Compact looks passably similar and its free
So is the original Futo haha. Would definitely recommend that over the Blista Compact if you're trying to make an accurate build on a budget.
