    • i tend the love one of the communitys imagined "endings" of the scarlet king scenario where instead of 999 evolving into some fierce or more godlike being to fight the scarlet king. 999 simply does what he always has but now mature at a truly INFINITE scale and heals the pain of and brings peace and happiness to the scarlet king making it loose its driving purpose to destroy all that exists everywhere. its own perptual pain and misery it had been born with alongside a total inablity to die with that no amount of power no amount of consumed gods and universes could ease or end his existence so it belived nothing but the destruction of EVERYTHING could end its own life and pain. but with a mature 999 healing him he would likely vanish into the multiversal void taking with him 999 so that he may finally rest eternally in peace sparing the multiverses of his spitfull desprate wrath yet also taking from it a great source of joy.

  • Yep, it’s happened, I’ve reached the point in my life where I’m crying about a song about a orange blob of happiness jelly. But really, this little dude has been my life ever since I entered secondary. He means so much more to me and SCP then just being a weird blob. He is a Beacon of happiness in a world of pure madness and confusion, a light of purity in a world where innocence has been long forgotten. He’s the embodiment of what we should all strive to be, happy. He is so, so much more then a monster. He’s perfect.

    • OMG I feel better. I was wondering why this song and video beings tears to my eyes. And i thought i was the only one that reacted this way. But I understand that they aren't tears of sadness nor pain. They are of love and joy and this song captures all of it and it just touches me deeply.   • This song could be twisted in a way so that it is from the perspective of The Scarlet King. -The “Will you never, ever, ever grow up for me” part is the Scarlet King literally not wanting his child to grow up because when SCP-999 grows up, he will become powerful enough to dethrone his father (The Scarlet King). -The “will you be my sweet child forever” part sounds cute at first, but it’s really the Scarlet King wanting his son, SCP-999, to be a child and weak forever. -The part where it says, “The Scarlet King has apocalyptic songs to sing. On that dreadful day, you’ll bring the sovereign into suffering” is the Scarlet King trying to inform his son of his apocalyptic plans and what will happen if he were to grow up and become more powerful. Scarlet King refers to that day as dreadful because he doesn’t want to be dethroned and defeated.

  • This song hits me so hard. Just the fact that eventually he'll be called to battle is one of the most painful things to think about let alone see like in this video. SCP 999 doesn't understand the full extent of what he's to face, yet despite seeing the entire multiverse crash around him, he's just excited to put a smile on the one who truly needs it the most; his own father who never had a care for him or anyone else to begin with. Even in fiction, he acts so real as his powers effect even us in a non-fictional way. Maybe this is why our world has no more monsters or mysterious entities left; he let himself be given up so we could live without the SCP's. You didn't have to do that, 999, but the fact that you did makes you the true 8th wonder of our world.

    • Well, if you believe that he’s the 7th child of the Scarlet King, born when the Foundation decided to put an end Procedure Montauk, then I suppose that makes sense. Also, the Scarlet Kings supposedly becomes more powerful the more feared he is, and I doubt 999 fears anything, which gives him much better odds in a one-on-one fight.
