@@Arthur-lc9rf Mee too, love them
why you have only two songs in spotify?
Fantastic performance band.
@@sametaslantas4092 next realesed album in february.
YOU'RE ALL SO AMAZING GUYS!!!!!!! MASSIVE LOVE. MUA
I downloaded the podcast of this & listened to it over and over on a walk through a forest here in Canada, walked for hours, smoked a j by a river, got a little lost, saw owls & heard coyotes, rained a bit, made my way out by sunset...best day since Covid lockdown for me. 😎
Good stuff brother!
Awesome 🤘
damn that sounds like a good escape. I love it
enjoy your day as if I had been there
Glad you had a great time! This LA kid is jealous.
This performance brought to you in part by: bangs
Your mother bangs... (Im so sorry, that was terrible) ✌😷
Got a tickle outta that this morning
Γελοίες
I literally laughed out loud.. Thanks
Exactly xD they're all peer-pressuring the drummer into getting bangs now, you know it
Last year I accidentally clicked on a Khruangbin video. Didn't think I'd ever get so serendipitously lucky again. I was wrong.
Same here, best evento of Last 5 years.
KEXP is today, by far, without any questions... the coolest thing in music
dumbest thing i've read today
@@Shivayoudestroyme why is that?
I am starting to realize that. Such great music I've found through this radio station, and great videography
So is Tiny Desk Concert
@marco sanchez because they consistently have shitty bands on the program (most bands are shit)
kexp is rock radio culture. thank you kexp
I love to see how much fun that bassist is having
The men crushing respectfully on these talented women. Ty. It's rare to see in a comment section.

@@Entd8n7d I'm not sure. The word "Pista" from Spanish to English means "Track".... I would guess based on that and the tone of the song that it's about finally being on track in life, but it's really impossible to know.
thanks dude
Honestly kexp has to be the best studio for discovering new music in the world right now. I've discovered so many great bands through them and I thank them for that.
Same. At this point in time If you see a video of a band playing on KEXP, you can click on it and be absolutely sure it's good shit!
You're right!, also you could check out Audiotree, another great studio with great bands, you wont regret it
F'king right! Warpaint!
Couldn't agree more to this !!
Agreed... Discovered like 10 bands at this point and because of this i've started collecting their vinyl records because their album artworks are so nice it's great to hang on the walls
These girls are tripping hard on their own music. Love their performance!
The drummer is freaking amazing!!
yeah she got groove
The girl playing bass is totally vibing!
Thank you KEXP for ignoring all of the commercial junk and bringing us music made by musicians!
This bassist is a monster. That moment when they let her out of the box at the 8:00 minute mark. Oh man. I had to go back and listen to it 3 or 4 times. The whole crew is fun, but that rhythm section is next level.
i liked so much bass guitar lines too.
Oh come on, she doesn't look that bad...
I'm crushing bad from that moment on!
@@subs4794 What? haha
@@slcoldstone Yep... I don't normally crush on blondes, but that bass...

Not only a Pizza man, also a great Handy man! Thanks mate!
How is there more tracks in here than on their entire Spotify Page?
@@DioHard They intially had Tripping Party, by which I discovered them, on Spotify. Then I noticed it was removed. I asked them through Instagram why I can't find it on Spotify and this is exactly how they replied: "Hey! It's not on Spotify at the moment but it will be again when our album comes out. You can still find that version via our bandcamp". I received this message on March 8, 2020 though :/ So most likely same applies to other missing songs. But hey! It's been a year! I assume they could not release the album due to the difficulties caused by this Covid-19 shit!
@@HakanPolatli Wow thanks for letting me know, friend! I will keep my eyes open for new songs! :)
@@DioHard You're welcome. Me too :D
I love when the drummer looks the camera and smiles

She got me with the bongos
I literally did a double-take and smiled way too brightly about it lol
Lmao as I read this she started has me dying
Same dude she got it

Some badass bongo work I must admit 😮
It sounds like beautiful tropical and psychedelic sounds. Greetings from the land of "LOS DESTELLOS" (Perú)
That bassplayer is right on time. Love her groove.
Can't stop watching this. These girls are my Lockdown soundtrack.
women*
@@KatieIndyk okay. I'm a semi old man. I like the music. It helps keep my spirits up during the lockdown pandemic situation. They are women.
Same here, I absolutely love this
was just about to post this!
Saw them live a few months ago supporting Mac DeMarco. Walked into the venue and remember seeing 3 or 4 of them all stand towards the front of the stage, all with fringes, all without bras, all smiling. Lots of 60s vibes, was kinda hypnotic,
Jess beautiful thank you for sharing
Not wearing bras must give them 'extra' Twang, Happy International Womens Day, Surely thats every day ?.
And they probably smelled like really stinky arm pits.
@@derrickblankenship5355 So what?
Hairy armpits are sexy AF!
These girls need a big festival with a good crowd and the sun shining down!!
I saw the girls at the palp festival in switzerland yesterday. Great gig
Greenman festival in just over a week. Fingers crossed for sunshine but they would be a pleasure to listen to in any weather.
They are one trick pony’s.
@@jimjiminyjaroo300 let hear one of your songs then.... Ponys did the world for thousands of years before flashy cars came along, now cars are all same

I clicked this because they have the best band name I've ever heard.

@@RegularDude00 yes, much better
Better than king gizzard and the lizard wizard?
Sounds like a GTA radio station name
These ladies are talented and effortlessly cool. First time listening to them today and I am glad I did
Los Bitchos and Warpaint should join forces and make a mega jam band called War Bitchos!
love it!
no
Yes!!! I was thinking exactly that when I read this comment 😂 Imagine????!
one song request == please cover Young Men Dead by The Black Angels and make ascap send J Timberlake to front this act -- and make Rickenbacker give that Dick Dale lady a 12 string
Literally said they were the british version (even though this sounds so Latin to me!) of warpaint! And in down with your War Bitchos name!
I have seen and heared this so many times! AND IT NEVER GETS OLD! NEVER!
I love how the band is clearly serious (execution) and loose (evidently having fun), all at the same time. And that rhythm change at ~ 13:54!!
You can understand that its an obvious piece of art when you see the pleasure on their faces. Reminds me Anatolian Rock songs. Glad to be listened.
👏🏻
Absolutely
the lead guitarist is turkish
@@Xzeno98 Her name doesn't sound like Turkish and google says she is originally from UK.
@@Xzeno98 really... That's great to hear.... Wonderful....
I intended to briefly check'em out, then remained transfixed for their entire set - wonderful! Looking forward to more of their music on Spotify.
same!
Pretty much yeh.
Same!
One minute into hearing this band for the first time, and loving it already!
Raw, unpolished art - no headphones, no stress, girls just play for fun, seems to me. I like it.
This is really beautiful, it's like a Western mixed with Surf Rock and Latin American cumbia, I hope I can see them live sometime, greetings from Uruguay 🇺🇾

@@olivergarciaalcantar3369 OMG. Alguien más de México? Necesitamos a Los Bitchos en un Festival Hipnosis :') O algo de cumbia, tipo Agrupación Cariño, Astros de Mendoza, Tropikal Forever!
9:15 literally loose my shit. This is the best thing I’ve ever heard. Sounds like Latin American cumbia mixed with some western guitar riffs. Amazing. Greetings from Argentina
Two of the members are from Uruguay, that's why it sounds like cumbia
Cumbia rockabilly
I get a Dick Dale surf guitar/Cumbia vibe. And I like it.
Dude, i had tears in my eyes because it was so beautiful, usually not something that happens
Listen a mexican's band called, «Sonido Gallo Negro», sounds like that.
so talented just love this jam, and how diverse the wall of sound is, the lead guitarist inspires me to be better and wow thinking outside the box!!!
God bless the music... and to you for make it real... Goddess of delightful sound... Que Vivan Los Bitchos!
This brings my faith back in music. They killed it..
This is exactly what I didn’t know I wanted today
same and now ive listened to it 5 times and shared it with my friends too
the bassist is giving heavy Tina Weymouth vibes. Absolutely killer band, the whole lot. And thanks KEXP as always!
Wow, very talented playing, great show.....Thanx!
That sound! Kudos to sound engineers at KEXP. This is eargasm. Their recordings almost always sound better than the bands studio albums and any other live concerts. And thanks for aiding me in discovering a great band for the thousandth time!
the thing that really catches me in this band, it's that they are having fun
2 mins in and I realise I'm sitting here bopping away mesmerized. So tight and groovy!

she's terrible
@@caballopalido exactly
@piping piping i don't explain things
brutusbn76 the drummer is not mike portnoy but she does an ok job. I’m puzzled by (I’m listening to the first track, maybe she will eventually do something) the chick playing the keytar, she is like dancing around pretending to play Edit: ok I’m in track 2 she is playing, never mind
@@caballopalido She isn't terrible. She's playing what fits the song. That's a musician. You don't have to be Buddy Rich to be a good song-writer's drummer. Solid backbeat. It fits.
I didn't expect anything but wonderful music from a band with only women! Girl Power!!! Kisses from Brazil!
I CAN - NOT - STOP - WATCHING!!! Telling everyone!

Los Bitchos is one of the gems I've come across while stuck at home these last 4 months. At least some good came out of the pandemic. Love it!.
I can't stop listening to this session, it's amazing. This is my 8th day in a row listening to it.
What an awesome discovery these women!!! I listened to them on a radio in Montevideo and came here to listen again and again, and again and... ok, forever again. Love them!

Now I do!!
First time ever listening to this band.i like the sound.
their sound is the worst part about them

I found this amazing band after the strict lockdown in Spain. A nice melodic latin surf trip that makes you fly. I'd be nice to watch them play live.
the bass tone is amazing, holy shit
This has been in my recommended for months. Why I haven't listed to this by now is beyond me.
SUBLIME! Recién esta semana estuve escuchando Los Destellos y algunas cumbias psicodélicas del Perú. Sigan con ese proyecto tan copado gente!!!.
I remember seeing them at a gig in a pub in London a few years ago and now they're on kexp. Absolutly mad that. It's nice seeing a band you've seen by chance grow especially over the last few years and how tough things have been on the music industry
Excellent performance... I love that Cumbia mix sound that rocks my soul.... you really take the music to another level... thanks!
All of the band members are solid but that bassist reallyyyyy stands out, such tight grooves and such sick lines and riffs! Lead guitarist has a wonderful sense of melody too, it can't be easy to create engaging instrumentals like this. Wish the keys were higher in the mix though.
the bassist used to play in a band called thee mvps, also worth checking out!
Jack Webster thanks for the recc ill check em out!
Yeah, bassist is great, but also the drummer!!
@@jule_ah Definitely! Tight as hell

I already sid it, but yeah, Tina Weymouth levels of bass!!!
Great rhythm, holy shit

Jesus that bass. The engineering on this is top notch.
It's incredible, I can't describe my feelings in words. It's just a delight for the ears.
when they said cumbia is the new punk, they meant this... Los bitchos is my favorite band now!!! Loved 'em!!!!
I cant get "The Link" out of my head....
Saw them last year opening for Mac DeMarco while travelling Istanbul, Turkey. Such a good band live!

Warpaint
@@f_r_e_d Yeah Warpaint is good, Fred. My son got hooked on them and showed me some of their videos. Just one big problem and it's unusual for an all-girl band, they suck when they're trying to harmonize on vocals. I'm not totally sure why, but even though they've put a lot of work into their playing...especially the drummer, the vocals are terrible!
