The newest vessel in Celebrity Cruises' fleet, and third in the Edge series, Celebrity Beyond is the longest and tallest ship yet. Captained by Kate McCue, it arrived on the south coast on Thursday, April 21, from France's Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard, in Saint-Nazaire.

I was in santorino in mid August in Therissa overlooking the centre of the volcano in the caldera and this ship was out in the middle, it absolutely dwarfed any other cruis ship nearby. Absolutely beautiful vessel. Had to google it when I got home and here I Am!

I enjoyed this ship tour and the time stamps. I would like to see the locations labeled in the video though instead of having to pause the video and matching up the time stamps. But I enjoyed the video. The BEYOND is a beautiful ship and I can’t wait to go on her.

Just do it !!! I had to be coerced into my first cruise and I had the time of my life. I’ve been on 18 cruises now. I always have one on the calendar. You picked the best as far as Cruise Passion. She produces cruise videos that are informative and enjoyable with good camera work and editing. Just book a cruise ! You will be pampered for the entire cruise. When you decide on a cruise, look for a video on that ship / destinations from Cruise Passion or anyone else. … and get a balcony cabin for sure ! Is there a laundry service in the Celebrity Beyond? If there is, does it works with coins or credit card ? Or the laundry service is operated by the crew of the Cruise ship? Thanks a lot.
I don't think there are self-serve laundries on Celeb ships but they have a laundry service that will wash/clean clothes for passengers. Princess ships have self-serve laundries.

Captain Kate Mc Cue: First female American to be Captain of a cruise ship. First female to captain a cruise ship that had an entirely female bridge staff. Captain Mc Cue and the Beyond have also, in recent weeks, conducted, not one, but two, rescues at sea of immigrants on boats. Captain Mc Cue, I don't know of you're reading this, but my hat off to you. As a person who grew up on a Caribbean island, that is one of the busiest cruise ports in the world, I was also, from a child, having visions of being a cruise ship captain. Unfortunately for me, that never materialized. After reading about your accomplishments during a research progress, I must say, I hope that they eventually make a movie or documentary about your life.

Gosh, it's less like a ship and more like a floating 5 star hotel on the inside
The ship has a major flaw, IMO. I keep seeing tours of this ship and that major flaw keeps exposing itself. It's great to see the Normandie Statue. It used to be on a Millennium class ship but now it is on the Beyond. So what does this ship provide, a state of the art theater, lovely solarium area, fantastic buffet, a large variety of eateries including specialty restaurants plus 4 main dining rooms with lovely decor for each one and one in Eden, a coffee bar and lounge. The retreat area I think is rather nice and in one area but impedes on areas where the majority of passengers would use to view the sea inside and out. But the inside social areas are limited to the Club, a few bars a sports bar and the Martini Bar within the Grand Plaza. But if you compare the newest Princess ship it has all those areas plus 5 different lounges. HAL's newest ship has fewer specialty restaurants but some and includes a rock club, a blues/R&B and jazz club and both of those ships have a top observation lounge that's missing on the Beyond. So, while the Beyond has a lot of variety for dining inside and out, it doesn't have enough lounges for mingling/dancing. That's a big flaw because some cruisers love to have a choice of indoor lounges to mingle and/or dance in.

Thinking of this covid an me getting my vaccine shots ,I was hoping for the special treatment to spa an other activities noing me didn't want to be left out ,one good thing was getting it at the height of 6'5 thanks the lard ,I wanted to stretch upward not outward ,an just becoming into celebrity status all my dreams of bonbons ,that was a rush to get things heated my doctor said to me I can start doing things on regular basis like working an trips an regular activities I use to do if I run into a place that's going through this I already had my vaccin shots I know what to do that's a good thing I hope ,but I look forward to going on these trips an working .

Still prefer their Solstice class ships.
Why? I do as well. I think they are more intimate and I just don't like the decision to drop so many areas for the Edge class. Library, card room, hideaway spot, a bunch of lounges, second theater and mini foyer, all gone. That just makes no sense. I like the Martini Bar's style much more in the Solstice ships. I also prefer the richer colors than so much beige/gray but that's minor.
I hate the fish-eye lens camera. Very unpleasant to watch.
