The Club Sandwich is the most famous sandwich in the World, which we would like to introduce to you today in this “Street Food in Berlin” Episode. The Club Sandwich is topped with Egg, Cheese, Fried Bacon and Chicken Breast Fillet Strips and is, along with the Meatball Sandwich, Chicken & Egg Sandwich and the Mediterranean Sandwich, one of four Sandwich Variants that are available at Mimi's Grilled Sandwiches in a small enchanting Street Food Trailers offered are prepared on the grill.
With great attention to detail and everything freshly prepared, “Mimi's Grilled Sandwiches” are an absolute culinary delight and, as rich as the toppings are, they are a complete meal.

The bread for Mimi's sandwiches is delivered fresh daily directly from the Bakery „Feinbäckerei Royal“ at Fehrbelliner Platz Street food Market Stand.
[3] Club Sandwich
The Club Sandwich consists of fried chicken breast fillet with Bacon, Egg, Gouda, Cocktail Sauce, Tomato and Lettuce. The first Recipe appeared in 1894 under the name Club House Sandwiches in the Recipe Book Sandwiches by Sarah Tyson Rorer.
[4] Meatball Sandwich
The Meatball Sandwich consists of fried minced meatballs in tomato sauce, cheddar and mozzarella, basil, tomato & lettuce.
[5] Sandwich Mediterranean
The Mediterranean sandwich consists of grilled zucchini, eggplant and peppers as well as herder cheese, hummus, lettuce and tomato.
[6] Chicken, egg and avocado sandwich
The Chicken & Egg Sandwich consists of sliced ​​chicken breast, fried egg, avocado, mayo cream, tomato and lettuce.
[7] Cinnamon cubes
Made from fried white bread in a milk and egg mixture sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar.

  • Hi Foodies✌since we've noticed that many people are pointing out the bread packaging in the comments, we'd like to make it generally clear that it's of course NOT REAL newspaper - it's just the design. ;) We also didn't include glove changing and hand washing between operations in the video because we find it boring and unnecessary in food videos. At 07:32 you can see the sink and one of the women washing her hands. Should we show this more often in the videos every time people wash their hands? Feel free to write to us with your opinion. Should we change that in the future?

  • After midnight here in USA. My favorite relaxing past time is watching cooking videos. This was so delightful. Excellent prep, process and sandwiches. After retiring I wanted a restaurant or food truck but never took the leap. . Still Love cooking, grilling and feeding others though. Thanks for sharing and best of success.   • Many years ago in Algeria. Myself and a fellow Scottish friend found a half finished brick shack in the Atlas mountains.Well low and behold ?bingo . French fries and bageuttes with a papeikq type sauce. He wrapped our food un Algerian newspaper. It was winter and reallt cold. I almost ate the newspaper with the fries.   • Wow. To start what a well thought out trailer design. Not only did they pack a lot of equipment and food into it but most impressively how well the work flow was. Two people in that space kicking out that much volume of excellent looking food and vwery well presented in a to go format. Michelin should give these ladies a mention in their books.   • I love your sandwich trailer stand, but one thing I learned from working at a grill-based food service place early in life, was to clean the grill every night with soda water and a pumice grill blocks available for this type of cleaning. I know it is work, but the grill will never cook well unless it is cleaned, and yours is not cleaned properly. It should shine like a new grill after using the above mentioned method. Try it, you will see a difference.
