  • This is part #3 in the series of how to find Gold everytime and we show you more techniques that will guarantee you success in finding Gold every time when you go out into the field. This is a perfect example of what to look for especially on hillsides that feed into rivers or creeks. For part #1 in the series watch this video kzhead.info/sun/dcuLnbNxanODeoU/bejne.html and make sure to smash that like button .....smash it HARD ! and let us know if you have better techniques. We would love to hear them. Thanks

    • Between you teaching the world the geology and myself teaching the world how to apply physics in dowsing with the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod, which is the only dowsing rod in the world that precisely gauges and grades the sought element. In a couple of weeks our dowsing training KZhead channel : Tracy & Michael's Dowsing Adventure. Can't wait to show you whip panning that poor prospectors that could not afford mercury. Stay safe and healthy with having a good day.

    • Incomplete reply did not mention using gravity as the gauge and I found bullet lead in gold/quartz veins in Arizona that were done for discouraging any pospector from digging there. That may not be illegal, but it sure is immoral.

I'm in central Pa and grew up trout fishing and always saw shiny flecks in the streams but assumed it couldn't be gold due to my location. I'm gonna buy a pan and check the local streams out just for fun.

  • I have found out in the past 5 years that if I find lead shot or bullets in an area where it looks like someone was digging or if a hunting camp was setup. To pan that area. Don't use a metal detector, but pan. 90% of the time I have found gold in those spots. Old timers and some hunters that prospect will cover an area with shot pellets, spent casings, shot bullets into the ground to hide the gold they found from others that might be metal detecting. Most metal detecting people will see the bullets or shot or the casings and walk by and not even detect the area or pan it because they think it is a target area. So remember that if you are in an area and you find lead bullets in one particular area. Dig up the dirt and test it before moving on.

I'm itching to get my eyes on some 1890s cabins in the Yukon and look around some 'low spots' or soil depressions for buried dust they'd intended to come back for. (I think after 140 yrs its safe to say they aren't coming back for it)

    • I found an old cabin. At first I didn't see it,it wasn't until I climbed up a little higher and looked down and there it was. I actually looking for an old Indian picture. My great grandfather had a map of the area. He explained to me what to look for. It took me 2 years, but I found the cabin and then the old mine shaft. And the 3 bogus graves that hid guns, gold, and clothes. No none of that was there now expect for old torn clothes. But the mine shaft is still in tacked. This spring I will be going back and spending the entire summer there.

  • 1st time viewer and 1st time comment: I am two months away from my sixtieth birthday. I don't think I have ever felt this particular type of just down-right stupid in my life. When I was eight or so, my brother and I 'panned' for gold day and night for almost a week during a family vacation out west. We WERE in a location known for good panning. We had gotten our "equipment" at Walmart, the plastic bucket, shovel, and pan (with holes in the bottom of it). No wonder we didn't find anything. I guess mom and dad were as uneducated on the subject as my brother and I. It's either that or they didn't like us much. LOL

  • I have panned out bullets before. When you see lead, the gold is not far away if there is any around. I have never in my life seen anyone get a pan of lead like that. You sniffed out the exact spot and dug right on top of it. Excellent work.

  • Awesome video Jeff! You remind me of me back in the 80's when I did a lot of prospecting in Virginia! I bought a backpack dredge and did pretty good, but a lot of physical work! LOL. I worked the hillside and gulleys, etc. Did a lot of sampling. Then I found a nice nugget for that area , about the half the size of a Dime. In a small tributary I located a nice Quartz vein. As I traced it in a hillside it kept getting wider and wider. I broke some off and sent to a lab to be assayed. It was 3/4 ounce per ton of Silver and a !/4 ounce of Gold per Ton. I still have the GPS coordinated for that vein. Is that valuable today? Later I became a Metal Detector Engineer (retired) but never went back there. Keep up the inspiring Videos Jeff.

    • wow thats pretty good ....great work tracing down the source my brother ...1/4 OPT is not bad but we always recommend 1 OPT to make it profitable to work on a small scale and pay well.

Really small. Maube 2 carrets again not 100% sure amazing colors, when light hit its very bright with some beautiful colors as well reflcting on the dimanond

    • @@Askjeffwilliams i will definitely do that just haven't had the time, found it last Saturday, the quartz rock i found first then the little diamomd earring after, saw this shiny thing in between rocks and the lil boy inside my heart went coooool lol wiped the dirt off and looked like silver almost metallic flakes mixed it with the quartz soft smooth part but the inside looks like some gold or maybe the piece I found belonged to a bigger quarts rock, again I'm no expert as for me is listening to experts in the field as yourself. Just gain knowledge and wisdom and with time and experience I'll get better at it. It inst that big it's maybe about 4 inches long and weighs about maybe less then 10 ounces, but it was my first rock, definitely holding on to that for long as I can, goodluck charm/ sentimental value, It lit a fire underneath my brain and it's all I wanna do now when I have free time, go fora long hike get lost for a bit and fimd some cool rare rocks, calms me down alot and comforts me, It's pretty damn cool too. and I've always loved nature, animals, the beauty of mother nature herself. Thanks for your response as well, as I will definitely do that, new to your channel under recommended and it's going to help me out a lot, what rocks to look for what not, colors all that good stuff. New to this man new to the rock hounding community lol. I love it though already.
