  • There has to be some reason why a lot of us find sleeping on the road in a truck cab is more appealing than sleeping in our own beds. Idk what it is but it seems so much more cozy.

    • It really is. I love nodding off to sleep just hearing the world go by, waking up to an all-natural sunrise. After about 3 days though you REALLY miss the security of indoors.

    • I can speak from experience that sleeping in the rain was always the best. Especially when it was kinda chill outside, so I could turn off the truck and sleep comfortably. That sound when the rain is hitting your cab, mmmm.

I ended up staying because of your amazing content. Makes me feel better that truckers who do long hauls with overnight camping can at least be cozy.

  • It's surreal watching this when I was just in the Santa Barbara area the same week battling the same storm while on a business trip away from the East Coast! There were some major road closings and landslides down here...But man I love that technology and your vlogs make it feel like we're on the journey with you even when hundreds or thousands of miles away.   • I have enjoyed seeing the true in and outs of overland delivery. I had an Uncle that drove, but I was too young to know the particulars. I have always thought drivers are underpaid and disrespected. Your videos prove it. These distributors want you to get there at all cost, but won't let you park to get sleep. That is pathetic. As a nation we need to be better and do right by those that make our lives easier. Thank you for what you do.

  • I don't know how you do it. I rented a small U-Haul trailer to carry gear for a family camping trip, and even that little trailer was really hard for me to manage. Backing up was really difficult. The trailer kept on going sideways and jack-knifing on me. I was so happy to be able to unhitch it once I got to the campsite. After the trip was over, I breathed a sigh of relief, once I got back to U-Haul and dropped it off. As it is now, I use a cargo carrier plus a rooftop carrier for the camping gear. It was also really cool to see the sleeping area that you have in the cab. It's like a tiny apartment.

  • About the AC.. When that happens to me, I have to lower the temp all of the way down, as far as it can go. Then it should start blowing cold. After that, set your temp to what you like.
