Then why would the rock be with a box & have nothing to do with the box in the answer? It should be a rock with a light switch in on position. Rock with a box makes no sense because the box has nothing to do with the answer unless its rock out cuz the rocks outta the box
Man...don't take this the wrong way but this video is a great way to fall asleep! Love the rain on the roof and thunder in the background and when combined with your voice, sleep is not far behind. Feels like we're right with you there in your truck.

I thoroughly enjoyed the video. It brought back memories of my nights in Vietnam, sitting in the jungle and fields during rainstorms at night. As the sun would come up in the mornings we would first take off our water drenched boots to dry our feet and find that our feet would be as wrinkled as any prunes you'd ever see. I still like the sound of rain.

Awesome footage! Many years ago, my dad's cousin would fly in from SFO to STL for family reunions. He would always bring his video camera. He would get footage of any storms we had. His friends in Frisco enjoyed the videos as it's something they don't experience.

I camped in my truck once during a big thunderstorm and it was so peaceful. I slept really good listening to the rain on my tin top.

That's why I am glad I am a ham radio operator comes in handy got to get a weather radio they come in handy in a pinch
This took place in Nebraska. I wouldn't want to be sleeping in my pickup truck during a Nebraska thunderstorm. We all know that thunderstorms in Nebraska have a nasty tendency to start dropping tornadoes. Imagine sleeping overnight in your vehicle and tornado is lurking somewhere out there. 🌪🌪🌪🌪
Being from Los Angeles we don’t get thunderstorms like that so I appreciate the few ones I have seen in my life. Haven’t gone camping like that since my 20’s, brought back a lot of fun memories. Thank you 🙏🏻

Storm camping is fun. Just make sure you are not lying flat on the ground in a tent because 4 guys were camping and lightning struck nearby, travelled to their tent and killed the 3 who were flat in their beds and fully grounded and fried. The 4th one lived but had some injuries.
I would have LOVED to do this! I love thunderstorms...AND crab salad sandwiches. I camped out in my Ford Econoline van back in the '70s during a thunderstorm. Very memorable!

I got to camp the same way in my 4 Runner this summer while in Arizona and Utah during some the craziest thunderstorms at night! Camping like this is some of the best adventures a person could experience on their own, good food, a good small radio, a good book-magazines or even a little portable DVD player to watch a movie or two. Along with the flashing lighting ⚡ and the sound of thunder during a heavy down pour all while inside your rig safe and sound and comfortable 👍.
8:30 - the sound of those cicadas! Love it. Brings me back to my youth, growing up in Texas, summer nights with my friends. And the storm! ABSOLUTELY AWESOME.

The moment the lightning started I started to feel so relaxed and sleepy, as I went along in the video and the rain started and increased I just wanted to put this vid on loop and go to bed. Storm nights are my favorite they really put me to sleep, and seeing this cozy set up is even more enticing

I loved how you kept rolling the camera the whole time while eating during the storm was fun and relaxing to watch. Almost every other channel has the person take a bite or two of there food during a storm and say ill check back with ya guys later and then come back storms done. Whats better then having some grub and few brewskis during a storm in your van!! Kudos my friend.
Loved the video. Love the sound of rain on the roof. A tip with the food in the bag...once you have your ingredients in, seal it up and massage it around to mix, cut off one of the bottom tips and squeeze it onto your bun. No mess, no fuss. I love rain. Thanks for sharing.

That’s living the good life right there man. The best meals I’ve ever had were when I was camping. And talk about sleeping like a baby, perfect weather for that. Now I’m hungry and sleepy lol. One of my favorite camping trips was in my Honda Element in west Texas. Shortly after getting squared away, I could see lightning on the horizon. It gradually built up over the next few hours and hit around 2 am. A lightning show like I’ve never seen.

As someone who is obsessed with severe storms you had an amazing storm there! Tons of cloud to ground lightning with that it seems! You mentioned the rocking of the truck may not be captured on camera but what i can say is the camera picked up that audio perfectly! I suggest those who watch this to do with ear buds with bass! Sounded how it does in person! Haha. Stay safe out there man this summer and I've really enjoyed binge watching your videos! I saw Severe Thunderstorm and camping in the title and was like this is going to be awesome! Also some of those claps of thunder were insane! 🤘🌩

Yes, rain on a metal roof is super relaxing. I used to listen to it when I was a kid, the house had a steel roof, and it would always put me to sleep.

Great video! Loved the sounds from that storm. As an aside you may want to consider a battery powered weather radio for times when you don't have a cell signal. Just a thought.
