Hi. Excellent job. I have one question what chemcal do You used, specifically pink liquid the colors silver. This probably makes polishing easier... :). I'am very impressed, BRAVO!!!
Empire's Instant Tarnish Remover
What did you put the trumpet in to make it silver again? I have a trumpet that's been sitting in the case for years and need to do this. Washing didn't get rid of all the black spots.
Hi - we use Empire's Instant Tarnish Remover. Best of luck
Good job! What’s the chemical do you use for remove silver tarnish? Where can I buy it?
Hi Vincente - for consumer use, we recommend Blitz brand metal care cloths. Here is a link to purchase them from the website- www.johnstonbaughs.com/product/3018/blitz-metal-care-cloth Let us know if you need anything else. Thanks
@@johnstonbaughsmusic thank you for the information but I’m a tech too,and I wonder if you can give me information on the chemical that you use please!
@@vicentejacuinde9484 To remove the tarnish, its a cloth with jeweler's rouge
@@johnstonbaughsmusic I'm sure he means, as I do, the chemical you dipped the whole trumpet in halfway then flipped it.

Can i still use the Tarnish Remover?
i dont belive that lackuer not say "goodbye" after that
Well, it's a plated instrument, not lacquered.
Great Job but I can do without the background music.

I guess buffing the valve pistons does not damage them? I thought the tolerances were so close that you might reduce the compression by buffing them. No?
Hi Alexander - We do not “buff” the pistons. We deep clean the pistons with a brass bristle wheel that is softer than the piston and deep cleans but does not remove material from the pistons. Thanks
@@johnstonbaughsmusic Thanks for clarifying!
