Last time was her departure skit. Her voice was breaking at the end. Also I cried a little I must admit. Seeing her in this skit made my heart fill with joy. I love this skit series so much. @JoshuaMartian-go3tm he did break in every skit, but I wouldn't say that ruined it. A host breaking and a cast member breaking are different. To me, a cast member breaking means the writers wrote some hilarious lines for the host to hilariously struggle with. Fallon just sucked at skits.

It might have something to do with her putting her nose in his butt the last time she saw him (prior to this sketch) on set. She has an unnaturally powerful talent of doing the craziest things and making everyone around her break effortlessly.
I'm never going to not laugh at Kate's front- and back-door rhymes in these sketchs.
“Close Encounters” is one of my alll time favorite series of sketches. So glad they brought this back for Ryan. Kate is the all time top character.

Ryan Gosling is a national treasure. Those who have seen movies like Drive know that he's a really good actor, and he absolutely nailed it in Barbie, but it's just so darn adorable that he's incapable of keeping it together when performing live comedy.
I started screaming I love this sketch and am so thrilled they brought Kate for this.

I pretty much never laugh out loud if I am alone but this one definitely did the job. If I was with someone I literally might have cried real tears. Kate takes it up several levels. Ryan did his best to hold it together but come on. The second time I watched I noticed Kate was trying hard not to make herself laugh at her own over the top character.

That is unsettling to find out when they get some leniency for "good behavior", being forced to go along to get along, is not the same as having taken the freedom of others lives, to live, away, and destroying the benefits of their being in the lives of a family, their friends, and community. Idk a lot about the moral deviancy, and corruption of a largely privatized prison system, but it seems to be influencing or infecting the courts now, as well.

When they break, it's got to be improv 'cause they just did the same sketches for the dress. You could see her dreaming some of the ideas up like "They were sniffing it."
