That damn guy run my gf and take her from me
@@Papka_Dwarf good she was for the streets anyway 😂😂😂
You act like it’s rocket science.
@@Joesmusclecargarage have you seen some of his other videos? It’s certainly impressive when it’s been sitting for over 60 years with a locked up engine
@@Finlan2005 Yes I’ve seen his videos. But almost anything can be broken free one way or another. It’s not “impressive”, unless you lack mechanical knowledge and ability.
This would be a good one to go a little further with than usual. She's a runner and pretty damn solid for the age. Get a fuel tank, tires and brakes, and see how she does on the old back roads. I have a '56 3600 3/4 ton. Sat about as long as this truck and had about the same amount of rats nest. Fortunately she turned out really solid. Driver's floor pan is not rusted through, and it's not even pitted. Well underway on a full original restoration.
Found this channel last year by chance and have enjoyed your content ever since.
I love watching this car/ truck guy bring these old engines back to life Keep doing what you do , we all love it
I love jobmaster 261 engine. Here in Brazil we use it until 1979 im the brazilian C10.. i have one chevy 3100 1963 that belonged to my dead father. He was the first owner.. i keep it until now in my garage...
This has to be one of the most absorbing channels on KZhead. To think I've had enough fun getting old 2-strokes to work in the past!
I have had a fair bit of fun with old 2 strokes too... But they said "Detroit" on the valve cover and weigh more than a car! 😂
Very cool!! Say, I have a question, where do you come across these vehicles for your videos, and, what do you do with them after?? Thanks... I really enjoy your videos, except for one thing, its hard to watch TV, your videos and work on my hot rod all at the same time!
When the front door opened up I was hoping you'd deal with the interior on camera... Let's just say you did NOT disappoint!!! Love all your crazy project and common sense (?) approach!
This is why I can’t have any yard decorations with an engine lol I’d be trying to get them running. Great video
That's a very solid Kool Chevy. I like to see you bring it around and do something with it 👍 I'd also like to see more on the Diamond T. Great video as always and keep up the good work 👍✌️🇺🇲
Absolutely bloody love this channel. As a bloke from across the pond, I’m amazed that these old Chevy and Ford trucks keep getting pulled out of the woods and barns, even just within small areas of the states. JMS doing Gods work pulling them out and getting them back on the road. How much would an oily rag like this be worth, do you reckon?
In my area trucks like this pup up for sale for anywhere between $500 to $5000 depending on how functional it is. Most of them end up being yard art outside of businesses since a billboard can be added to the back pretty easily. Pickup trucks are more expensive though since more people want to drive and restore those.
@@ThinginatorI personally prefer the panel van version, very cool looking thing, I love the pickups too but the van is special. Would love one.
I like how you keep your videos simple and straight to the task. I get what's in the title. No other stuff. This is how it should be.
Will Pilkington Just love to see the challenges you put yourself through. Really enjoy your effort and love to see these old vehicles run.
It’s just amazing that these vehicles you can fire up where they are. I’m stunned after all these years you can start them where they are. I always wanted one of these old American trucks especially a Chevy. Great video thanks for sharing
Fantastic!!
you never fail to inspire me
I just fell in love with the sound of the engine, it's unbelievable that the truck is still running 😮👍Thank you for sharing this beautiful moment with us.🤗
I enjoyed it. Looking forward for more
Love this channel keep them coming
I like how confident he always is, and he has the right to be, he always makes it work
I have to say that this young man can get anything running. Is so enjoyable to watch and listen to him explain what he is doing.
Awesome video!
Favourite restorer. Been around from the start, love all of the videos. I'd love to see if a longer vid would get the epic views you deserve but you've already knocked it out the park! Much appreciated
"Restorer"? 🤣
Dang, it looks just like my 55 2nd Series. I looked out in the barn to make certain nobody had stolen it!
I really like your channel great mechanic bringing these vintage vehicles back to life 😊🤔😎
Love your videos my buddy and I use to buy heaps of shit old vehicles when we were younger and get em running and driving just to prove we could. We always talk about doing this but we just don't have the time anymore. We watch your videos all the time keep up the great work theres something magical about an old vehicle running after so long
Your skills are second nature to you. To us, they are amazing. A huge dose of respect. Stay well.
great skill 👍 & knowledge mechanical experience , take care yourself , keep healthy 💪 bro
Welcome back brother I miss your updates
Dude old trucks get me every time
Dude's got a line on some will it run gems other big channels would kill for at this point. xD Not to mention a much wider berth of content with that amazing skill to save and make absolutely anything run.
Howdyyawl from the land down under. I used to have an AT4 Dodge With a 245 slant 6 in it. Powerful unit. 😊
Yes, sir true American treasure! 🦅 🇺🇸 No begging for Pateron money. No BS sponsorship peddling. Just straight onto the video showing us what you do best and with your cool accent. Respect!! 🫡 P.S. turbo the BMW! 😊
Well done Sir. Keep up your great work. Bests, Fletch, NSW Australia 👍
That universal key is amazing
The car that was once dead has come back to life. You possess god-like technology.
This guy is the type of guy that will tell you great stories about cars and his life. Love your content. Also on the quality issues you have on your videos on premiere. Have you been recording them in a lower quality format or exporting them in a lower format ? If so tried changing your camera settings to record at the highest quality setting it has. And on premier export it at a high enough resolution that KZhead won’t compress it too much
Good job. Abandoned truck. First starting. Nice. Engine
Sassy Grass AAR Cuba? That was an awesome surprise on this video. Can’t wait to see the progress on that car! Love your content. Simple. One guy, one camera. Keep it up and watch your subscriber numbers grow!
OUTSTANDING!!! great work sir!

Another beautiful rig!
You are the vehicle whisperer. Such a cool truck.
I love watching this guy make these old trucks go. I got myself a '86 C10 longbed that i am giving a try myself.
Man great job getting that classic beauty started! I love them old trucks! By the way good luck finding the matching numbers engine for that AAR Cuda! Definitely looking forward to see what you have in store for that classic!👌😎👍
It fired up surprisingly well! Looking forward to seeing more of the other Cuda and the old truck you are putting the diesel engine in.
Another great restoration story! I would like to see the details on removing, rebuilding and reinstalling the starter. Nice job
Love this content and saving old cars!
Love your content. Just a good dude working on vehicles.
Great video, great job Mr. Jennings!!!
This one was neat. You could actually hear as each one of the cylinders came back to life. It gradually smoothed out.
Very cool to see that run again, nice work
That's a pretty good find! Looks more solid than some I see on the road!
Hi, JMS. I have to ask, what do you do with all these old vehicles you get running? Full restorations? Sell them? Keep them around? I mean at this point there's probably about 70 you've got running, so I'm legitimately Curious. Thanks
Ive always wondered that too. I wonder if he just goes to peoples houses and asks them if he can try to get whatever they have running lol.
@@rm25088 Also, how do you even properly STORE something like this?
@@qwertykeyboard5901 no clue lol
Im absolutely jealous this is a really cool truck 👌
Very cool 😎 👌 👍 thanks for sharing!!!
Yeah That coil is good😂
Rat nest deluxe 😂 I love this videos

Alway an optimistic attitude no matter how bad off the situation.. awesome!!
You sir are a wizard. God bless America 🇺🇸
My new favorite channel, thank you for making such cool content. I'm watching at 1030am CST on may 5th. Video shows a max of 1080p
This is the guy you want to know in a post apocalyptic world.
Awesome job! 👍 That would definitely make a cool truck to put a bed on and haul with!
I think this truck really deserves some attention. A budget respray, some cleaning, and it should come out better than new!
Pressure washing the interior was so satisfying, love seeing that too haha
I swear this guy has the magic touch when it comes fixing up these neglected old vehicles
YYYEEEEESSSSSSSS!!!!! It’s a good day when you post a vid. ❤️ thanks brother
Great channel encourages me to do stuff with my collection
Really love these videos 🤘
She barely even smokes. Minty. In all seriousness she runs like a top, and just that little pressure washing uncovered that red. I can only imagine how beautiful that ol girl was in her day.
I was surprised to see it run with not too much effort, nice work.
Love that. Year. Love. The. Dash. Thanks

Makes ya wonder why the hell some of these old workhorses were parked in the first place!
Good job mate , that’s a great old truck very nice, a real keeper for sure 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
Jennings motor sports awesome videos friend 1955 Chevrolet old truck needs everything battery clean inside the cab engine good condition tires are good bless you happy memorial day weekend
Hey Mr. Jennings, I bought a 1957 that came off an Air Base in California. It didn't have a speck of rust on it, but it had 10 coats of paint. I got it from some guy who finished his stint in the AF and he bought it from the base, to drive it home instead of buy a plane ticket. It had a 265 V8 with 3 on the tree. I customized it extensively by removing all the paint and putting Burgundy on it. Put a couple bucket seats in it, carpeted the floor and real wood paneling on the doors. White wagon wheels w/ fat off road tires and a white tonneau held on with those push on grommets. The Sec of State wanted it weighed and it came in at 3500Lbs. Eventually the motor came out and I put a 440 w/ Torqueflite from a 1968 Dodge Charger in it. The rear axle pinion gear wore out, so it got a Chrysler 8 3/4" with a 3.55 sure grip. I'll tell you what: At 3500 Lbs it was quick! And you can ask my brother-in-law how fast it was, it scared him. I used to cut traffic with it running between towns where I was working. I eventually gave it away to a cousin. It was a really cool truck! Thanks for bringing back the memories. You will have something special if you want to, I sure did. ben/ michigan
I really hope that truck gets the attention it deserves. For being that age, and that good of shape she deserves a resurrection.
