  • These are magnificent trucks! I grew up with a 59 2 ton that was a grain truck that was the same color as this one. It was always parked inside, only driven during harvest, and only had 19K miles on it when we sold it in 1991. Even the original upholstery was still pristine. I miss that truck.... Seeing this brings back fond memories of those beautiful trucks. I hope this one will get restored. Thanks for the wonderful content!

    • @@MrPaige222 First, considering the fact that no one living today is going to be here in 10,000 years, your question is fundamentally flawed. Second, I don't see Astute Nomad recommending giving up. Third, The whole premise of salvation is the hope of glory through faith. As Joshua said: "But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.” May the hunger for truth burn in your heart, Paige.

  • Just about 10 years ago we had a 66 Chevy with a shot transmission but the body was in pristine shape for being here in the North East USA.. How ever it was pinned between some trees not so big around as those are. But with the help of a guy digging a septic pool right near us he & his helper took interest in helping us out. He told us to get together a bunch of study pallets some long 2X12" planks and ply wood. I was already reading the guys mind and it was early on a very sunny Sat we arrived at 6am to chop up them pesky ole trees which I took home for winter firewood. The guy with the back hoe lifted the front of the truck right in the air so we could build our ramp to get over the other low cut stumps. We worked together like we had worked together all our lives and just built our ramp and with his helper doing one super job of coaxing the truck with a large bobcat machine from behind this thing came up and out of its pinch like it was a magic trick. Mind ya it took me most of 3 days to get everything there and then I cut stuff to size with my helper but I will say some amazing things can happen if U put your mind to it on the rescue engineering end of things.
