Extremely rusty and too damaged? Is it possible to restore or fix it? Another unique restoration old metal tin toy car. Watch the video and see how i dealt with this restoration. Some parts were missing, some were unrepairable and some parts fell apart in my hands! Enjoy the restoration!
I bet this dude can even restore my broken hopes and dreams

One more comment….. this toy represents monumental change. It’s a product of an era when horse and buggy, mule and wagon, oxen and plow were the norm throughout the world. The men who drove these old trucks on which this was patterned were born in a time where 90% of people never traveled more than 10 miles away from their birthplace and the entire world population was less than 2 billion. The rarity of a toy like this is even greater than the actual full size vehicles.
Dude, it's not that old🥲. My great grandma was a kid back then and she's still alive now
At first you could'nt think it is possible to restore this van, but the restorer have everything one need to make this van sparkling new. Well done!!
The child who left this car truck never imagined that, 90 years later, his own toy would give joy to another child in another era !! Goosebumps over here!!
Imagine the kid all grown up watching this and seeing the new technology fixing his truck
I doubt these are givin to children. They're probably just kept on this dudes shelf

Well fabricating actually.
Thinking out of the box as well

I kept thinking of the Ship of Theseus as I watched this. 🤔
These 15 minute videos are the most productive and worthwhile I have ever seen on KZhead
There is a degree of self satisfaction with this. The time involved must have tremendous. Not to mention all the intricate tools. I don't think there is any financial gain to be made here but it's truly remarkable work.
Maybe there was in the amount of views he got
I know it’s an inanimate object but I think you could feel the “happiness” coming from that toy truck after it was restored.
You deserves more likes
Imagine how much it was screaming as he took it apart! It has no idea what's to come!
That means a soul is attached to it. Or so many memories

Looking at this and what a wreck it was, I never thought in a million years you could restore this. What an Amazing restore!
There is so much new material used is it really still the same toy? I think to the Axe conundrum, If an Axe head breaks than I replace it, than a few days later the handle breaks I replace that. Is it still the same axe I started with?
That car looked like it's seen some shit
@@markdennis5150 your assuming my comment was meant to be negative, stop being just a pessimistic jerk. It’s a question to make you think. To some it’s the same toy, to others you could of made the toy with the materials used in the restoration. So was it truly a restoration or just a remake? Fun to think about, that’s all.
This brings me joy, too, to see the care you give to restoring an old toy. Keep these videos coming!

Nice to see a channel that seems to actually restore old, neglected toys, instead of just buying the latest toys and making plastic look rusty before cleaning it.
bro u think that’s what he did
..there's channels like that- wow💀
Actually there's a lot of channel do that technique. But this one is a real restoration.
In fairness, there is a video where he randomly “finds” a toy car encased in a frozen pond under a layer of snow. I’m not saying all of the videos are staged but clearly some elements are.
I've watched quite a few of these restoration channels and I'm sure a bunch of them artificially rust and damage stuff so they have something to work on. Finding them in the state they are in so regularly doesn't seem feasible to me but hey, it's still cool to watch.
Absolutely amazing. I have some of my deceased dad's metal toys from when he was a child. They are in bad shape, but I never imagined that they could be restored.

It's not from the depression era. This is likely from the 50's or early 60's. I'm a vintage toy dealer. Though it is a representation of a truck from the 30's.
Amazing talent!!! Love to watch these videos!!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!! ❤
I restore antique fabric pieces. How often I look at something and think, "Nope This one is beyond.." and then find a way to make the restoring work. There is no greater reward. A recent Cajun quilt I lovingly re-birthed, is signed by the woman who made it - VICKI. My dream now? For someone on FB to see it and step up, saying, "Vicki was my grandma, she made that for grandad, who loved fishing!" Keep up this heartwarming work....I totally understand how very rewarding it can be, bringing pieces like these....back to life.
