    • OMG! I hadn’t even looked at the comments but was just talking to my husband about this very thing! Without any of our modern extreme cold weather clothing or tools or equipment to get through something like that and just freezing and starving (or choosing not to) to death. Just not surprising.

  • Incredible! I used to live in Incline Village and Zephyr Cove and now live in Italy. I moved here a year and a half ago from Zephyr Cove. While the cycling is great here Tahoe is my favorite summertime cycling place! Beautiful video I’ve recommended it/shared it with approximately 100 people. Many of which are locals here in Italy so I can show them where I used to live. Thank you so much

  • Impressive. I live in No. Colorado, where snow is no stranger, but seldom do we get anything like this. Well, March 14-15 2021 we did get 30 inches over a 2 day period. This year we have had about 40 inches total for the season, and cold, with 4 straight months of below normal temperatures.

    • Yes I remember that storm we had drifts 3 feet deep. I got stuck in a huge drift in my lifted truck on 33s. I had to air down my tires and shovel abit but I got out. We have not had a storm like that since in denver.

  • My friend and I were at Tahoe at 6pm on 28th, and my flight from SFO back to Toronto was in the next day at 7;30am. All the major highways were closed and we have to use the local. It took us 9 hours drove all the way north to red bluff in a rx350 with all season tires. Big relief when we got out of the mountains suddenly the roads were wet and started to rain. I was arrived at the gate just in time as they were boarding the last zone. What a day 😂😂….

  • Having lived all over midwest ( now in bay area ca ) , this was the scene every winter , some cities had awesome road maintenance, plough trucks running all day/nights, keeping it safe , other places like in WI it was left to nature , after a while you get used to it .

  • Did this going up 395, all the way into Truckee, and then Soda Springs~a few years back when 4 feet fell within a few hours...Great FUN in a 2003 Toy Runner 4WD, which easily passed everybody else on the side of the road, trying to chain up, near turn off for Mammoth Mountain☆☆!! If one is in the right kind of vehicle, a Tahoe blizzard can be a really "Cool" way to spend the day...Be SAFE on those amazingly pretty Winter roads...Holly:)
