    • Think this is a response to antiasian violence. A bit overdone and indirect,of no import to current events honestly. Another rags to riches porn story. Any 2 hr vice doc normally gets millions.

  • Really good stories, interesting and inspiring people... I was just curious why donuts shops in California became synonymous with Cambodians. Then I stayed for the colorful personalities involved. The footage of Ford's speech on immigrants is a nice surprise. It is nice to remember that there was a time that America used to welcome Asian immigrants wholesale. The interview of the producer/cinematographer on the latter part of the documentary is enlightening. Thanks for making this documentary.
