The M711-FPS (the slightly different model) features a powerful 3360 Sensors and 50-60G accel (vs 20g...which is still perfectly adequate)...the FPS edition also has those tempting optical switches. I'll break out of the stoneage and give them a shot soon.
If I missed anything, help others out and share. If you have any valuable input, then BY ALL MEANS input it nublets.
Also, no offense to bungee users, I just think they are silly, yes they can help with drag...and they can also obnoxiously cause drag. Hoity Toity peoples and their bungees...pfft.

Great review for such a low priced mouse, not a lot of people out there that do reviews on redragon mice, or just cheap mice in general, great review.

Glad you did a lift off test. Just got a piktek mouse from amazon and god the laser was so sensitive. I could have it off the pad 3 inches high and it would still track. Thank you, I feel confident in purchasing this now

Hello! I bought this mouse maybe in like March, and so far it has been astounding! For $17 this thing had great rgb and feels great. Only problem is that most of my games use the scroll wheel button, and recently it hasn’t been working, but the scroll up and down works just fine. Maybe a rare problem but still a great mouse!
I think you are not the first to mention a mild issue with the scroll wheel actually :D For the most part it's a solid mouse, especially for the cost!
I've had this mouse for 2-3 years. Absolutely phenomenal. I'm looking at the new Aerox 3 2022, but its hard to justify even the $60 for wireless or $30 for wired. I recommend this mouse to anybody with any price range

Got this last 2 years, and still serving. Good quality of a mouse having tight budget. Just that the rubber on my middle scroll is chipped. Well, it has gone through many things haha. But its still serving.

Decent mouse, but the Havit MS760 is a better mouse for the money. It gives you swappable side panels for left and right. The thumb panel can be either a 3 button "traditional" configuration(the one I use), or can be swapped for a 9 button "RPG" configuration, and they are fully programmable. The pinky side can be either a smooth surface, or swapped for a "shelf" to rest your ring finger on(which is what I use). RGB lighting FX, up to a 12,000 DPI sensor, and DPI changer on the fly. Great mouse and it only costs a few bucks more than the Redragon mouse.

well only thing i would love to have answer on is ... < is it capable to do fast flicks , like on 400 dpi with low sens, basically just to do 90-180' flicks without the mouse cursor stopping x.x
How does it compare to the G403? I mainly use the G403 but I love the feel of Red Dragon mice, so I was considering getting this mouse.
TeaL I’ve put my hand on a 403 but we own the 703s. I’m not sure I could give it a fair 403 compare but the 403 is supposedly a very solid mouse.

Theres also a third version, i have it, but i dont know what sensor it has or what switches it has, it is the "For Battlegrounds" versio, it only has 5.000dpi, that is the only difference between the normal and fps version. Is the M711-1
The macro 10ms option can't be adjusted...? Is this a bug? How do you adjust this? It seems to return to its default (10ms) after you change it Help

Are there any redragon mice which doesn't flicker? I've tried the m711 cobra but it flickers(like this) and it's annoying I have to turn the LEDs off.

Hey, I've been thinking about buying a new mouse in the 20-25$ price range. I think this mouse looks pretty good, but do you think it's worth buying over the Steelseries Rival 100 or the Razer Deathadder, or Logitech g102? I have preety big hands
Deathadder is a bigger mouse but I'm just not a huge Razer fan personally. It's a well known mouse for being 'fan' favorited over it's many editions and generations. The Rival 100 is nice, but low DPI and overall looking back...not a real mouse that really stands out. The G102 is pretty minimalist and I havent had hands on time with it so i cannot really speak for it. It's really up to you. The M711 is a comfortable, larger, middle of the road mouse with a decent sensor.

Can someone explain exactly the difference between the switch type in the M711 and the M711-FPS. The M711 has an OMRON switch type and the M711-FPS has the Optical Switch (LK). What exactly does this mean?
TheWizardofOzzie they are both mechanical switches at their core, the LK switches use a horizontal IR beam that interrupts when the switch is depressed. This break in the light actuates the click. LK is one of the two big optical switch manufacturers. So instead of traditional mode of depression to actuation to send the signal, the signal of the depression is sent the moment the shaft blocks the signal. (Sorta like a garage door sensor, if you break the beam the door will halt) same principle.

I'm not sure, it really depends on you and what you're looking for :) I haven't used the 110, but I hear the sensor was upgraded to some Truemove series one which (according to reddit users) say compares with the 3320/3330 series sensors and those are pretty slick low budget sensors. :)

According to some reading it uses the Pixart PMW 3330
It’s great for $19.99, it works great in fortnite and other games, and is miles better than my old centrophorus m601 (also by Redragon)

The software is really glitchy and i cant even use it functionally anymore because it gives me an error when I try to. Because of this, i cant use my auto clicker or have a seperate bindable button. other than software, it is really nice.

One question, a bit of a weird one, are the 2 side buttons a reasonably large size? My mouse has really small side buttons so it’s hard for me to click them without clicking the wrong button.
They are a bit larger than some of those skinny ones. I get what you mean...not a weird question sometimes that larger button is better for sure.

How do you change the colors without changing the dpi or sensitivity because I play fortnite and when I changed the color pressing the middle button on the mouse it changed colors but it made it to fast and then I changed it again and then it was to slow I want to know how to just change the colors
In the software you can set it to change colors without interfering with DPI settings. You can also make several profiles with the same DPI and set each profile to be a different mode or color so when you use the DPI swap you're really just swapping colors/patterns.

King Keltic it’s a decently sized mouse. If you like wider mice I’m kind of there with you. The Scimitar is my daily and it’s perfect for me. Without being you, it’s hard to answer that for you, but I feel the mouse is big enough to accommodate.

Edit: I'm only trying to decide now between this mouse and the pictek T16. The only thing I like more about the Pictek T16 is the sides are just like this mouse, but it's rubberized grip instead of plastic with the texture.

Not specifically but if you are getting rainbow, that tells me the lights are working. Have you attempted to uninstall and re-install the UI? That is all I can really think of (and make sure for the right 711 mouse).

When I use this mouse it turns of randomly then turns back on. It is happening more frequently. Do you know any fixes.
I've had this happen with other mice in the past and really it's trial and error to fix. I usually uninstall/reinstall the drivers under device manager. Make sure some old driver isn't running in the BG somewhere that may possibly be causing issues also. If you have a laptop or another PC try it there for a bit and see if the same issues occur in a different setting. May help you narrow down if its the PC not playing nice, or the mouse not playing nice.

What is the weight of this mouse ?
so im making my setup blue and black, and there is the button on the bottom of the mouse that is supposed to change the color, but i go to blue, and it just stays red. how do you switch the color?
Frosty on the bottom? That button is a profile swap I think. Have you set the colors in the UI with the same issues?
Eight-Six I changed it in the UI, but I don’t think it’s syncing with the mouse. I’m not using the disk the mouse came with because I don’t have a disk drive, but I got the UI thing from the website, and it won’t change the mouse at all.
