This is why they say huskies are stubborn. They're very smart but they have low motivation to please their owners. Zeus loves playing in the water in the bathtub and wanted the water turned on. However it was time for his walk and he was just being stubborn because he wanted to play in the water.

  • I sometimes feel huskies know they are partly wolf and still can not act like one. They are caught in the middle, and traces of their wolfish independance get ridiculed and mistaken for a joke. They are emotionally intelligent and don't like to get orders if they make no sense to them. In feont of the sled, they have to do a lot of evaluating and decisionmaking.

    • EDIT FOR ANYONE NEW READING THIS COMMENT CHAIN, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST: A large portion of these comments were caused by someone named Helper's Corner coming into the comments claiming that Zeus was suffering and acting like the owners were terrible and treating him badly. He also started to personally attack multiple people in the comments as well. At this point all of his comments are deleted as are some of the other people who were initially replying to him. Some replies are still there and may lack context. So please stop @ing me as though I was the one starting crap, because I was just one of many people responding to him and telling him he was wrong to make those assumptions and accusations with nothing to back it. Helper's Corner you’re right, there no information on the climate so why is it necessary to bring it up? It’s just as likely they’re in a cold area and the dog just likes the tub.

    • @Helper's Corner No, I care about animals suffering. I just don't find it necessary to bring negativity into everything. Immediately hopping into the idea of "OH, it could be suffering!" When there is no indication of that is such a horrible outlook on life. I really hope that you understand yourself better and have time to learn that not everything has to have a negative connotation and that anyone who doesn't want to live life as negatively as you doesn't mean that they don't care. Sometimes you should enjoy a cute moment instead of tearing it apart to look for something bad. Good luck with that. Just to add too: If you even bothered to look at the channel you can see many videos showing Zeus in the snow which already disproved the negative theory you had wound up about it suffering due to irresponsible owners in a hot climate. The information in the About section also makes it look like his family is located in Pennsylvania which wouldn't be that hot most of the year. Huskies can also do fine in hotter climates as long as the owner takes proper steps to assure that they have a cool area and plenty of water. Their coats help to regulate temperature both in hot and cold climates and as long as the proper steps are taken to prevent overheating, it's not irresponsible or cruel to have them in a warmer climate.
