Nord stream Sabotage revelations : Who’s really behind Russian gas pipeline explosions? • FRANCE 24

Who did sabotage the Nord Stream pipelines?
Without much proof to go on, pundits could only root for the version that would suit their cause. German investigators reveal they found traces of explosives aboard a yacht that may have carried the charge that last September knocked out the undersea conduit that supplies Russian gas to Europe via the Baltic Sea.

It appears that the only evidence the German police has is that trace evidence of explosives was found, which does not mean that large quantities ever were on the yacht. It merely means that some passenger transferred trace amounts onto the ship. There has been enough time to sample the explosive residue and compare to the supposed traces from the yacht. No mention if these are even the same explosives. Also, explosives can be almost anything including common fertilizers.
Even nitrates from sausage will give a reading of explosives.
@@patrickcowan8701 Moreover, trace amounts can be transferred from clothing, duffel bags, boots etc. That means anybody at all who works with explosives and fertilizers, which are also used as cheap explosives, could transfer traces to the boat. Obviously if it was far more easy to do than people think you won't tell everyone how to blow up a pipeline. There are a lot of other pipelines and they are far too big to actually guard effectively.
@@arjan2777 Oh! I am sure you are right. Who knows? A passing fish might have knocked out the pipelines when its tail grazed them. 🙄
Records of 39 samples taken 20 km from the explosion site contain measurable chemical weapon agents, both arsenic and mustard gas related. The highest concentrations of these and other heavy metal pollutants rest in just the top 5 cm of sediment, suggesting that even a small seafloor disturbance could release a maximum amount of hazardous material into the water column. Based on the concentration, the rupture likely caused the resuspension of 34.6 tons of chemical weapon residues.
first you need explosives capable of working underwater, then they need to be able to blow through 4 inches of concrete protective casing, and the inch of solid steel that makes up the actual pipe. You would need a submarine to get to the depth of the pipeline, and professional divers who could operate at such depth. You then need to plant an estimated 100-kilogram (220 lb) TNT equivalent amount of explosives. (This is the estimated blast according to Björn Lund, Associate Professor in Seismology at The Swedish National Seismic Network.) Next you need to get down to a depth of 80-110 meters and plant these 200 pound explosives. These weren't some terrorists with their scuba gear and a stick of TNT. Seymour Hersch explained how it was done exactly, by NATO forces during the Baltops training exercise. A training exercise that specifically tested mini-subs at depths right around the area the explosions happened. How convenient.
How about the decompression chamber. a very heavy piece of equipment.no indication they ever had one. The entire story is a fabrication to provide cover for the US and Norway.
Both of Nordstream 1. and Nordstream 2. are pipe pairs (altogether 4 pipelines). 3 lines are demolished.
There are a lot of explosives that can be used under water. And you don't have to have thousands of pounds to blow up a pipeline with a diameter of about 46 inch.
I can imagine it could be thrown from the surface (maybe some controlable technics) or delivered by an underwater drone.
@@tonykalf5946 Björn Lund, Associate Professor in Seismology at The Swedish National Seismic Network said "there is no doubt that these were explosions" at an estimated 100-kilogram (220 lb) TNT equivalent. Your right, but still, not a small explosion by any means.

This "yacht" (or whichever ship(s) was involved) would have done it twice, at two different locations very far from eachother. The first Nord Stream 2 explosion was on the other side of Bornholm island. That place was about 24 km's from the shores of Bornholm, the boat could have been seen from the island. I.d.k. the exact distance between the two sites, but maybe 100 km's apart? And not once did anyone see this yacht fooling around?
@@ProgNoizesB What does _"at an island"_ mean here? If *_"at_*_ an island"^_ means at the gas leaks but 100 kms away from any island or, (the single leak to the south) at least 24 kms away from _"the island",_ that island far away would be Bornholm. Except for Ertholmene just north of Bornholm there are no other islands in that area. But everything is relative. It depends on what one means with "near".
@@ProgNoizesB As for the second part. I don't believe Andromeda is equipped with deep diving equipment (or minisubmarine) which is needed for diving this deep. Diving 80 to 100 meters with sucba gear is not possible. Sailing boats are not a uncommon sight in the area. rather. they are very common. When visiting any coastline of this part of the Baltic Sea one gets the impression that every local person has a sailing boat. Which is over estimated, but there are indeed _many_ many sailing boats, big and small.
The 'yacht' involved is a Bavaria CS 50 sailboat. Sailboat. Let's first talk about traces of explosive. What kind of explosive? Actually, you can find explosive on almost every boat since there are flares on every boat, especially if they have parachute flares, which uses explosive as propellant. Then, let's talk about the quantity of explosive used. They would need at least 1.5-2 tons of it. I won't go into procuring and smuggling it, just puting that amount and handling it on the boat of that size. How did they lower it to the bottom of the sea? Without the crane? They didn't just tuck it over the board? No. So, they would have to do it manually. Which brings us to divers and their equipement. For the dive to such depth you have to have highly trained divers with specialised equipement. It couldn't be done in one dive. For such depths you need special gas mixes and huge numbers of gas cylinders. There is no decompression chamber on the boat and ascend to the surface from this depth would take days. For each dive. This boat would have to be on this location for many days without rising any suspicion. This scenario simply didn't happen.
Face it. The team may have been associated with or constituted by anyone. They had skills associated with special forces with a high degree of organization and discipline. I guess you can buy those services.
If so, someone is paying these contractors. Who’s the payer?
Have you done scuba diving? At such a depth you can barely operate 15 min and decompression will take 4 hours. This is not someone you just hire with contract. This is done by the most advanced diving team on planet earth. Talk to any professional divers you’ll find the story of hiring a yacht to do this is ridiculous.
The location of the explosions could not have been worse for exposing marine life to the hidden dangers once locked away in toxic seafloor sediments.
When you listen to the commentary one can come to the conclusion it was a win win result for all parties whether they were responsible or not

15:58 The recommended “down-time” for a dive depth of 100 meters is 20mins. The lower you go, the less time you have. Issues such as water pressure complicates your dive, hence some divers develop “the bends”, and have to decompress when returning to the surface. Some sections of the Nord-stream pipeline go as deep as 200 meters. Submarine? Possibility!
The lower you go........? Down time..........? Some divers develop "the bends".........? You have clearly no idea about what commercial diving is.
Why would they target the deepest section? They wouldn't. Saturation diving is more than possible.
19:39 Norway had a lot to lose???!! They took their own Baltic pipeline to Poland in operation literally 5 days after the attack! What DID they lose by getting rid of the main competitor who sold its Gas at a much lower price?! and to 28:44 : If there are many NON state actors ( that are not controlled by the US ) able to plant thousands of KG of explosives undetected even at 75m under water (the limit most scuba divers can go is at 40m depth) during a NATO underwater warfare exercise, what would stop them from blowing up the pentagon and the White House? WDR and CIA. Because lying and covering up the truth is their job.
Germany 🇩🇪 are very lucky to have had a nice and mild winter. And then to be blessed with a practically seemless Norwegian Gas to switch from Nordstream 2 Gas . So, in practical terms they are so fortunate really. Germany is very lucky indeed now to have non- weaponised Energy Gas Supply from friendly country like Norway 🇳🇴 ????
