AMISH WOMAN TAKING BELGIAN HORSE OUT TO PASTURE

This is an Amish farm I often take my children to visit. It's that time of day when they take "King Buck" out to pasture.

    • In the wild stallions will kill foals and even sheep. I've seen a video floating around of a wild stallion shaking a dead sheep around like a jolly ball. When they kill something since they don't have claws or anything to kill it with, they throw and shake them around. They don't just stomp them dead, they shake them to death. Plus, stallions have two canine teeth on the bottom jaw where the bit goes.

The best part about these horses is that they are strong enough to wear over 130 kg of steel armor on them, along with a soldier/knight who is also wearing about 60 kg of armor, weapons and shields and still be able to jump over huge fences just like your regular horses, some of them can jump eve higher...

Looking at there buggy horses (that had been driven there not those for sale) and draft horses being sold, the majority were in very good shape. Just as there are good and bad horses owners everywhere.

    • @@dianev.dirocco2364 Are you talking about a local community where you live or something? By modern standards, yes, they work their animals hard, but that’s because they depend on those animals to get crucial work done, the way things used to be done prior to industrialization. I don’t expect an Amish workhorse or sheep dog to look like modern day pets, because they’re not.
