  • Call me crazy but I really wanna get Cherry Mx speed switches with o ring dampers for gaming I heard its killer. Granted I already have the k70 rgb low profile with cherry mx speed low profile switches. I heard a guy on reddit saying that speed switches with o rings is laterally like touch sensitive and it's perfect for fps gaming but not much more.

  • Looking for a headset for games, music, and movies. Mainly gaming but I’ll do all 3. I would want a detachable mic cause I don’t want an external one. I have a really cheap pair now so I think I need better imaging and soundstage cause I play mainly fps and can’t hear footsteps well. I listen to a lot of rap and hip hop so some bass is needed but not too much to drown out everything else in games. Any suggestions on an all around headset? Looking to spend around 120 at most if it’s a really great headset 150. I’ve looked at cooler master, Astro a40 without mixamp, hyperx alpha, Logitech g pro, even some beyerdynamic but don’t want an external mic, audio technical, and sennheiser. I also am a college student so I have roommates so I feel closed may be the way to go. They won’t come out of my room either so I don’t need them to be 10/10 on looks and if the mic stays attached that’s fine. I’m not opposed to a mod mic if it’s in budget also and the headset would prob just be plugged into a controller

    • Jesus Acuna are the Astro a40 without the mixamp very good? If I plug them into the controller. Still footsteps and good imaging and there open so is there a soundstage. Either I want to get the hyperx alpha or get the Astro a40 fr now and get the mixamp a year from now or so
