Looked at this review last night and fell in love lol, and then in the morning i went to my local gaming store and reserved the last cherry mx brown switch ducky one 2 mini and bought it, using it right now as I type its a lovely keyboard I highly recommend it.

To everyone who's thinking about getting the blue switches, I don't recommend them. Though they always sound super satisfying at first, most people eventually get really annoyed after using them and hearing their loud clicks. I myself have gotten very clicky switches, and I really loved the sound of them at first, but overtime I began to get really annoyed with such loud clicks and I stopped using my keyboard altogether. Of course, I still do use it once in a while, but not as much as I would be using it if the switches weren't so loud. To the people who don't get annoyed and love the loud switches, this is just my opinion of these kind of switches. I don't mean any offense and you are free to have your own opinion about them. Personally, though, I really like the black and red switches.

@@littleparm568 I had the black switches, I loved them. Super smooth and sounded amazing, but they’re not for everyone, I just enjoy a heavier switch.

gosh. Cherry MX blacks are so awesome. I've used them in most of my builds.
Do you feel fatigued after a long time use? They sound really good but the actuation force looks a bit too heavy.

One thing to know before you buy the cherry mx black is that their actuation force is 60g heavier than most of the mx switches, there is also no click so you have to fully press it down.

Genesis1452 i had a k70 mk2 with silent red they get like a shine on them and get slippery but then i returned it and got a ducky one 2 and its the best keyboard i have had in my life very smooth key caps and just everything about it

For anyone who sees this, I've tried this keyboard with blue switches AND silver switches. Here's my humble review: Blue - Super satisfying. The keyboard frame is very stable, which gives an equal-sounding click from each key. If you like hearing the feedback, it's great. But be weary that you could get some finger fatigue after a while, unless you're a heavy typer to begin with (it's all in your posture). Silver - Genuinely life-changing. Super responsive, almost too sensitive to begin with, but once you get used to it there's no going back. It's made the biggest difference for gaming and typing in general. My typing speed has sky-rocketed. It's a very smooth click, which I think sounds satisfying in its own right, just as the clicky blue switches do.
so which one do you prefer and why ?
@@xxxx-om7tx I prefer the silver switches; personal preference based on how the keys feel, sound and perform. They have the lowest actuation point, so it really does feel like they give me the upper-hand in gaming (in response time). I can type with even more precision and speed; useful as uni student. I'm happy with them, and I've been better off! Though, sometimes I do miss smashing on those blue clicky keys.

I gotta be honest. No matter what brand the Cherry Reds always sound the best and most satisfying to me, but on the Ducky, damned if they don't just sound like Keyboard ASMR. So glad I ordered one on MechanicalKeyboards.

black switches are so underrated imo
No. 1 = silver (firm sound, feels glossy, well polished) No. 1 = brown (a little loosen and louder than silver, everything else are the same) (Go for silver speed for people who have large fingers so they feel compensated by the faster actuation since they have more weight on their fingers) (For people who have smaller fingers go for mx brown so they feel more powered by the sound and feel compensated by their smaller weight of their fingers). Other opinions Black = feels like the sound are made by wobbling keys and the rhythm ain't right Blue = Eventually you are just tapping for the sound effect instead of enjoying the full surface of the keys and their strokes Red = Mushy at the bottom, it feels like you wanna destroy your keyboard cause it has very low sound feedback
I have all of them , and disagree. Silvers are for people with Light Fingers Girls and Kids the reason is that after hours of gaming Normal weight fingers resting on the switch its just keep pressing them . Black that i use on Miya pro feels harder at first 2.0 but after that it bottoms out like Reds almost , sound is more thicker than any switch . Browns doesnt feel like they have any tactile ( clears do ) they are also for light fingers . Reds are big story because on some keyboards they are like u said mushy and scratchy I have them on Coolermaster SK and akko 3068 ( mostly cheap ) but on my Miya Pro Summit Reds are smooth very smooth u cant hear any ping and bottom out them its thick and u can really feel it ( so i guess its the cheap keyboards the problem)
I line the black because it sounds smooth and full, and it seems to be the quietest

Mixture of return units and a showroom model used for this shoot. And assuming it wasn't a moot point (since it's return stock), these 6 keyboards would have represented less than 0.1% of the stock pushed back on that shipment.
@RICHARD CHAI Touché and in any other context sure, but we get 100+ calls and emails per day asking the same thing re: Minis. If we don't address (what we hope is sarcasm) early, it can snowball into endless tweets of "What about the six Minis from the video?!?!" if a Mini shipment gets pushed back.
