Building a MASSIVE, floor standing 6' x 6' rug tufting frame for Dan Rodo @TheDanocracy , as well as a tabletop 2.5' x 2.5' version!
These rug tufting frames are made entirely from 2x4s and are easy to build with a circular saw, drill, pocket hole jig and speed square!

  • I saw he claps the smaller frame to the table to tuft. Does the larger one need to clamp down also or the long legs allow it to be sturdy and not need a wall brace?

    • @@MorleyKert Hi from Puerto Rico! Could you please specify the dimensions of the complete legs assembly? I read in one of the comments that the base is 30” for the small frame and 48” for the big frame. What about the horizontal part, the one that goes attached to the frame side? Thanks!

    • @@oscarfigueroa3462 Hello from Canada! Yes those are the correct dimensions for the feet. For the large frame, I think the vertical legs (which attach the feet to the frame) were 60" tall. For the small frame, the vertical legs were about 24" tall.
