  • WE WON : DMCA LIFTED. Today we're celebrating a victory against copyright madness. We won, but at what price. Vast majority of music nowadays is possesed not by composers but by very large record label with little regard to the rights of interprets and smaller artists. I hope this will be an example to advocate for a more balanced industry between big industry majors and small independant artists. There is laws and international agreements protecting us after all, to facilitate the performance of copyrighted music and overriding local laws. We still had a lot of legal costs during the process so if you'd like to support us, Spotify and Patreon are very precious options! It's now time to let Attack on Titan rest. At least until October... ;) And it’s time to start to move on and to show you what's next for us.

  • ATTACK ON TITAN IS COMING TO AN END. A 10 years colossal journey. A journey through the darkest corners of the human heart, a mirror that reflects the cost of freedom and the weight of our choices. A story of humanity's last stand, mirroring our own struggles, fears and the indomitable spirit that refuses to surrender. From Hiroyuki Sawano's masterful compositions, we heard the intense, pulsating beats, the haunting choirs, and the soaring melodies, all whispered of humanity's struggle and the relentless march of time. The strings shall tremble, echoing the walls that shielded humanity for so long. The brass shall sound like the horns of freedom, resounding in the face of impending doom. The choir shall chant the solemn hymns of memories lost and sacrifices made. Each note, a tribute to the characters who fought, the dreams that soared, and the truths uncovered. The music of Shingeki no Kyojin was a titan in its own right, carrying the weight of the narrative. It is a legacy that deserves to be remembered through the ages, a testament to the power of music in storytelling. We bid farewell and we invite all who have been touched by this journey to join our symphony of gratitude. Let the music swell, let the tears flow, and let the memories of "Attack on Titan" live on. We brought 125 musicians and choristers together to loudly sing our praise. This '' REQUIEM '' is our tribute to one of the most marking manga and anime of this decade, our final curtain call, a devotion that will forever echo in the corridors of our hearts. 🔥 HELP US TO KEEP GOING : bit.ly/attack-on-titan-requiem 🔥

  • Whats crazy is the fact that half of them probably have never watched or done an anime orchestra before, yet they've taken the time to not only learn Japanese but to SING opera style in Japanese with when they perform Shinzou wo Sasageyo, not to mention the other osts in different languages, German, Latin etc, whilst also playing instruments puts this on a whole new level. Wow the worldwide love and dedication for this show ❤. Also this premieres on my birthday 🎆🎂 😊 Edited/Added a little extra on the comment, as getting bored with the notifications of the same replies being said over and over again, without anyone reading anything in-between this first comment and what they type 🥱.

Isayama did not cheap out any part of his masterpiece of a show - animations, OSTs/music, story writing, artwork, dialogues/voice actors, etc. All around perfect. My parents were getting divorced, adjusting in my early life got harder, and the world felt like it was falling apart. However, when I watched Attack on Titan never in my life did I think a story where watching a character explore the darkest corners of his journey would resonate with me and build up my spirit again only to make feel even stronger. Attack on Titan story is about what it means to never give into fate and surrender. So I chose to live my life to the fullest by my choice and never give into my sadness, because I learned I have enough time to live every moment like it’s my last and build my own happiness. • It is actually such a nice coincidence that Sawano often incorporates German in his music. It plays so well with the German setting in AoT. EDIT: I just thought that it wasn't just intentional that they chose Sawano, they got extremely lucky that someone like Sawano even exists in Japan. Not only was he the only musician that was overtly using German in his music, he has been making Hans Zimmeresque music even before AoT. His style is extremely epic and bombastic, something that fits the epic theme of AoT perfectly.

    • When you read the lyrics of every opening, ending, or other songs of the OST, everything is masterfully representative of the manga. The artists working on the OST must have been guided by Isayama himself in many moments, because there's is foreshadowings of things from the end of the manga/anime in the first songs.

  • I started watching Attack On Titan when I was about 11 and finally finished it at 19 years old. AOT has and always will have a very special place in my heart because it was a show that I had pretty much grown up with ever since young. Seeing it end made me feel like a part of me came to an end too and listening to this made me think of how much AOT really means to me. Btw that synchronized page turn was absolutely amazing and made this even better. To everyone who was a part of the making of this: from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

  • I know this is a late comment, but watching this live, my man. What you’ve achieved in this orchestra, so much hard work, so many talented people, is something else entirely. The sheer amount of adrenaline and emotions within those beautiful 20 mins, feeling it with everyone. This is how a movement starts, one that I hope gets noticed and fostered as a marriage of professional orchestra and anime/game music. There are a few KZheadrs in wider music theory such as the opera singer MarcoMeatball who really drive home how special these OSTs are, how stunning they’d be when provided a platform in greater chorus, and you proved just that and so much more. Words could never describe how lucky we all are to have you and the Grissini Project, thank you so much for the sheer passion and perseverance, truly ❤👏👏👏👏
