    • In all honesty I think that such beauty should not have a price tag on it. Although its value is immeasurable as a piece of art it lends inspiration for newer generations to connect to music in the most magical way. Maybe one day someone will hear this music and become the next Hayao Miyazaki.

    • that longing for a nostalgia that doesn’t exist actually can be explained by the philosophical concept of hauntology! cultural conditioning like howl’s moving castle, spirited away, etc. causes our past selves to create a future we hoped similar to them. Yet obviously it never happens, and so our present selves long and ache for the anticipated future that never happened, basically haunting us now. It’s quite interesting, and it’s a big concept around thematic music and vaporwave. I suggest you look into the concept and you can basically relate it back to anything deemed nostalgic, especially things you’ve never experienced. :)

  • Howl's Moving Castle, a name whispered like a secret yearning, found its perfect echo in Experience. The visualizer didn't just paint the melody; it ripped the canvas open, revealing the sprawling, whimsical world within. As the music swelled, the castle itself materialized, its spindly legs kicking up pixels of dust as it lumbered across the screen. Glowing embers swirled around Calcifer, his fiery grin a beacon against the encroaching darkness of the Waste. Sophie's silhouette, delicate yet resolute, danced among the gears and cogs, her blonde hair a banner of defiance against the Witch's encroaching shadow. But Experience wasn't a fairy tale. As Sophie's loneliness echoed in the strings, the castle's clock face wept, its hands blurring with tears. The once vibrant colors bled into an aching sepia, mirroring the emptiness in Howl's eyes. The music, once a playful waltz, morphed into a mournful dirge, the wind whistling a lonesome tune through the castle's cracked windows. Experience wasn't afraid to dwell in the shadows, to let the fear and the longing bleed onto the screen. Then, a spark. A single, defiant note ignited the darkness. Calcifer's flames danced wilder, casting flickering shadows on Howl's face as he spread his wings, a burst of cobalt against the encroaching gray. The castle lurched, gears grinding in defiance, pixels swirling in a whirlwind of hope. And as Sophie's voice rose, a chorus of pixellated stars painted the sky, a testament to the enduring power of love in the face of despair. Experience didn't shy away from the messy beauty of Howl's Moving Castle. It was a kaleidoscope of emotions, a whirlwind of light and shadow, a testament to the human spirit's ability to find hope even in the darkest corners. It was a visual symphony that danced with the music, a reminder that the journey, the stumbles and the soaring, are what make the melody truly sing. And in that chaotic, captivating embrace, Howl's Moving Castle found its perfect form, a testament to the enduring power of stories to move, to inspire, and to make us feel, truly feel, everything all at once.
