About us,
We are a family from the North-East of England following our dream to restore a beautiful abandoned french Château. We discovered the heart stopping Château De Lalacelle in summer of 2020, this beautiful architectural monument Is set in the countryside of North-West France.
The moment we visited the Château we all fell in love, from the beautiful sweeping landscape and forests, to its stunning untouched interiors and magnificent spiral staircase in the turret.
Unfortunately Château De Lalacelle has been abandoned for a number of decades so will need a lot of restoration and DIY.

Being a Stone Mason's daughter I love the beautiful staircases and the repointing is amazing but I look at each Stone that has been hand Carved so many years ago they should be very precious to you amazing work boys keep getting it❤

One of the things I love about this channel is that you guys work hard to figure out the best way to do a task. I remember when you first started cleaning the front of the chateau. You tried a variety of methods before you found the perfect one.

Those two side pieces that you're sitting between, look like they had some sort of plate in the center of each. They may have had the name of the Chateau on them.
The staircases look wonderful! Once you have finished cleaning the final staircase, an observers eye will be drawn automatically to the grande Olde Lady. Each staircase is so unique and beautiful. Thank you for put a shine on each one. ❤️🏰

What a difference that made on the stairs. Everything is shaping up, can’t wait to see the garden all finished. It’s going to beautiful! The bird, maybe it was seeing its reflection, thinking there was another bird inside.
Looks good guys, but please, use sunscreen and wear hats. Fair complexions can't take too much sun!

I was saying the same thing to myself. He looks pretty crispy at the end of the day. He should reapply sunscreen several times throughout the day for his fair complexion. Do not want to see him get skin cancer. The stairs look fantastic! 😊 What are those hook things that are built into the stairs?

The staircase looks beautiful but I do wonder what those little hooks was used for do you guys have any idea I noticed on each side of the staircase there's a little little square holes on each side of the staircase wonder what used for

I never would thought of washing even using the special acid treatment…I remember when the University of Oklahoma revitalized their old (1800’s buildings) they sandblasted all their buildings to bring them back to life…good job

The main garden staircase has been beautifully refreshed. The acid really works best to remove the old grime and stains. I loved the video tricks in this one too. Glad to see Terry wearing his hat as that sun looked really strong. Another great video from team Lalacelle!👏👏💪💪❤️

Came up really well. It might be time to invest in an industrial high-pressure cleaner that will clean in half the time. Please put a bucket over that re bar at top of steps 😊

Your little bird thinks it has found a mate - reflection in the glass! I live i Panama where it is eternal spring/summer and I have them at the kitchen or bedroom windows daily. Usually at 6 AM. Probably will want to alert your guests to the possibility of the pecking so as not to surprised/distressed!! Beautiful project and you all are doing amazing work

The carving of the original stonework shows up so much more now that it’s been cleaned and how special that stonework is.
